    The receipt date is only useful if you're going to file an inquiry that your case is outside normal processing times.

    I used the international birth certificate issued by the one and official birth register in germany. It is not an translation like uscis states. I also used that one for the K1 Visa in Frankfurt and there was no issue. What am I gonna do now. Send the original in german language? What did you guys sent?? I'm lost :(

    We got a RFE for the same reason, my husband submitted a copy of his birth certificate and a copy of the translation.
