 The EAD form shows expiration 2/18  Is this the correct form to use now. I couldn't find any updated form.

Our status was updated to ADMISTRATIVE PROCESSING this morning and already this afternoon it has went to ISSUED!!!     We are so happy now. Only need to wait for the issue to be mailed to her .

No reason to worry. A 221g can add WEEKS beyond the normal processing times. Normal times can be a couple weeks, with all the holidays don't be surprised if it is after the new year before you see activity.

Was issued 221g for Police clearance at interview Sept 29. Finally police clearance arrived and embassy MANILA received Nov 23. On Dec 8 finally the case was opened and showed ready. As of now still showing READY and not updated still showing same date of Dec 8. Should we worry or is this normal ?? The consulate kept her passport etc. and told her they could not issue the visa until they get the police clearance.

There is no exact time frame for processing, typically a 221g request will add 2-4 weeks to the process after USEM receives the documents.

More patience...

I CHECKED the status and went from no status to ready on the 8th of Dec. Getting near and as you said need to be patient but something I'm out of.

My fiancée was issued a 221 g for police clearance. The clearance was received by the embassy on Nov 23. We checked our status and it says NO STAUS YET. I'm getting concerned why taking so long. The consulate yold her she will issue visa when the clearance arrives.. Juat anted to know if anyone was in same situation to know how long it was for them before visa received.

My fiancée had her interview but they needed her clearance. Its been two weeks now since she sent them the clearance. How long does it usually take for them to send visa? Where can she go to check on her status ?

They kept her passport. She was sent I think its a 221 g .

Does anyone know how long a certificate of no marriage is valid ? My fiancée obtained it this past Feb.

Thanks that is what we plan to do. Sept 1 she send for the Clearances and she made her interview appointment for Sept 29. If she still not receive the clearance by that time she will bring proof that sent sent for it.

will my fiancee be able to still have her interview even if my fiancee doesnt have her police clearances from other countries yet? I was thinking maybe they will interview her but just wait to issue visa when the clearance arrive if they approve ??

Hello everyone. I received an email saying our K-1 VISA is eligible to be scheduled for interview. I want to update the timeline but no where I see when the consulate received. How are we supposed to know when consulate received in Manila ? The email is dated August 15 The NVC sent to Manila July 25

In my situation it'd be better not to wait until my visa is in hand to make travel plans, so just wanted to put a feeler out to see whatsup! Rescheduling is not the worst thing. Appreciate it again

My agent advised me to never book a flight until visa is in hand because so many times there are unexpected delays.

I called and my petition was received and I have my case number.

It's been 5 weeks since our case was approved but still waiting on getting the case number from NVC. I called NVC today and a very nice agent told me that "they should have gotten it by now", and to call USCIS to inquire about it. She even said that many cases are getting in from USCIS in a matter of days after approval.

So I called USCIS and explained the agent the situation and what NVC has told me and the response was that it might take up to 90 days for NVC to receive the case and I must wait that time before this could be researched. ? I believe this is bologna, must people only wait 6 weeks to call USCIS and ask for a tier-2 agent, or schedule a local InfoPASS appointment or contact their Congressional representatives. I'm also aware the petition itself expires in 4 months, so I can't see why it might take up to 90 days for NVC to receive it.

I'm wondering if anyone else has receive this kind of non-sense response. I even called twice and the 2 different agents told me the same script.

I personally will wait another additional week, or 6 total, before I start calling the higher ups and start making some noise, that's simply ridiculous.

Did you call NVC? Often you don't hear anything from them, but if you call they can tell you if they have received your petition or not. They'll give you your case number if they have received your petition.
