Hi there.
I was hoping someone could help me with a few questions.
My wife and I have been through the K1 visa process. She is from Russia.
We have our interview coming up for "conditional" permanent residence within the month.
My wife had her medical in Moscow for the interview. We did not request extra copies of her medical records.
Regarding vaccination shots:
We do not have any of her vaccination records.
We are trying to get the info. from her doctor's in Russia.
My lawyer said we do not need to scheudle a new medical exam, but we should get some offical documents
from my wifes doctors in Russia stating that she has all vaccinations.
I could bring this information to one of the gov't appointed doctors here in the US and they could sign off that she is up-to-date.
(without having to pay the extra money to get a new exam and shots).
My question is: What vaccination shots are required? What proof do we need from my wife's doctor in Russia?
Thank you very much for your help!

My wife and I are filing for her permanent residency.
Some of the documents needed are vaccination records from her doctors in Russia.
Does anyone know what is exactly needed?
Thank you!

When my fiance flys into the US, what kind of questions will Port Authority ask her?
I heard the Port Authority can be tough. What can be expected?
Thanks!

Before my fiance leaves for the US,
what medical records/documents should she bring with her that will make things easier when dealing with immigration services later?

Our visa was approved today. (Valentine's Day!)
I can't believe it!
Everything at the interview went smoothly.
My fiancee said the woman interviewing her was very nice.
She asked a few questions and approved the visa.
We are both very happy.
Thanks everyone for helping me with all my questions & and for giving me great advice.
I really appreciate your help!

I had plans to be with my fiancee for her interview, but my official invitation from OVIR will not be ready in time (they changed the processing times)
and I will miss the interview.
I will fly to Moscow shortly after.
Regarding the interview, it is a problem that I have only been to see my fiancee in Russia once?
My fiancee and I met in the US while she was on a student visa. I visited her and her family a year later (last December) and have been working on the visa paperwork ever since.
We have great evidence (phone records, emails, text message records, photo's, postcards and letters, dhl receipts from gifts..etc). We are truly in love and I could not imagine spending my life without her.
I am just worried that the embassy is being really tough.
Do you have any helpful tips for the interview?
Thanks for your help!

Can my fiance, a lawyer or I send the DS-156 electronically? Does it matter who sends it?
Should it come from my fiances email account?
Thanks and Happy New Year!
-
Do we process the DS-156 and DS-130 electronically and bring DS-156K (in Russian) with us to the embassy?
Ofcourse we will bring copies with us too.
Will there be one letter sent to my fiance asking for the DS 156 and 130?
Will she receive the interview time and medical exam instructions at this time.
Does the embassy only send one letter?
thanks

Are the interview dates listed on the Embassy's website for certain?
My case was forwarded to the Embassy a couple weeks ago and today they posted our interview date.
Will this be the same date that will be mailed to my fiance after they receive our documents?
Thanks for your help!

Once my I-129F gets approved, how long could the wait be?
Is there anyone who has brought their fiance over from Russia?
What was your experience like?
Thanks
Adjustment of Residence - Interview
in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus

My wife and I have our interview next week to adjust her status.
We have our documents ready and vaccination forms completed.
My wife did not get another medical exam because she already had one for the K-1 interview in Moscow.
Will the government these medical records at the upcoming interview?
What questions will they ask us both? Is the interview very difficult?
Thanks for your help!
