  1. good news

just checked my status online and it says:

"On oct.11th, we started the interview scheduling process for your..... We will send you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move..."

Interesting enough, we got it early morning today just a few hours before an infopass appointment (what a coincidence!)

In the appointment, we got basically the same information. Very nice people at the Boston office by the way. They said that we should get the letter in a few days and then the interview weeks after.

They said that they are significant delays due to volume increase and the new system

  2. bi05916 and Harmonia - just read on the other forum that someone went to infopass in Boston. Boston doesnt go live with ELIS until October and only eight IOE cases have gone through the process (training examples perhaps?). So....the wait continues...

Kteam, thanks so much for the update. I tried several times to make it to a L2 officer and could not.... We have an infopass appoitment on oct-12th and will let you know....

BTW, the processing times on UCIS website are useless, since the definition of "processing" is wide open (it can mean interview, oath, officer looking into it...). And it can mean last case or a large percent. In sum, hard to use to estimate

My gut tells me that it is 5 months to interview appointment letter from priority date, or 6 to interview…

Did that person get any additional news at the meeting? Any estimate on the letter?

  3. Well our turn has come to an end Can someone please put us in RED. I wish everyone only the best a fast process The only advice I can give you is Stand Up ask questions call get answers and most importantly PATIENCE it is a hard and emotional difficult process but at the end well worth it. Good luck

    Hi Borriqua

    congrats

any suggestions on how to get to a level 2 officer?

  4. We're here. No change in N-400. So frustrating because we'd filled out the "old" form and decided to switch to the "new" one thinking it was the right thing to do. His I-751 is still pending, incredibly, too. We contacted our representative last Fri. to check why ROC is taking over a year. I think Boston is very slow. It seems that VSC sent ROCs to local offices. People in the ROC threads report getting an approval notice from their local offices. So we haven't heard anything about I-751 OR N-400 from Boston...

    Thanks Harmonia

Di you actually call the office? any feedback? does it make a difference?

  5. From a third party uscis case tracker app which runs up to 500 cases starting from a given case number. It shows the current uscis status. In IOE case you can see only few cases with interview scheduled while on NBC cases, you can see lots of cases with interview scheduled.

    Thanks Arken

What about "in line" status? I ask because I am NBC and two months after the biometrics there is no change in the status when I check my case online

By the way, cold you share the app details so I can also download?

  6. More than 95% of april IOE filers haven't received interview letter (forget about may n june ioe filers) while more than 90% of april and 50% of May NBC filers have already received interview letters. So it's about IOE.

We r not comparing few individual cases, it's based on overall processing of IOE vs NBC cases.

Congras..... Lets hope they are starting IOE cases.....

    Arken,

If I may ask, how do you know that 50% May NBC filers have got an interview letter?

I ask because I am within the 50% who did not...

    Thanks

  7. We are all getting anxious but we are still on track!

Typical time frame (at least in Boston) is 4 – 5 months (submission to interview) or 3 – 4 (submission to interview letter), bearing in mind there is a month lag between the letter and the interview. Some exceptions go up to 6 months though…

With this in mind, we (May filers) should get letters in August – September and have interviews in September – October

If you apply this theory to April filers (one month behind) it works, they are getting letters in July – August for interview in August – September

What got us desperate is that there is not online update to “in line” status after biometrics,. I guess this is the new norm with UCIS

You can confirm this theory with trackit.com….

  8. Do you have an IOExxxx case? If so, it's gonna get slow because of the inteoduction to new online system.

NBCxxx and I used the old form (2013)

not sure that if that has a material impact

I would think that the new system would be slower as any other change

I am surprised that the most of May filers are stuck after fingerprinting. It might be that the "in line" status has been eliminated...
