By the way, they have finally updated the USCIS website and it's now showing Approved. Any update on your packet yet?

Tell me about it. We're stressed while wait and now stressed again since we never got that noa2.. hope they send your papers over to the embassy soon and be with your loved one.

That's what I thought. Lol! Now, we're scrambling on getting that interview scheduled. We were really caught off guard and we thought it's going to take at least 5 months before it's approved. Thank you for your response.

I called USCIS yesterday and spoke to some officer Peter, their record still show received. No approval letter was issued. I was thinking a glitch in their system. Then, called NVC and they told me our file is already in Manila almost 2 weeks ago.

Should we just proceed to scheduling the interview and medical in Manila?

Update: I just checked the NVC Case#, our file is actually at the Manila Embassy already. We are still in shock since I haven't received the approval letter and status online still shows received by USCIS.

Hello everyone!

I have been a silent member in this blog. I received our NOA1 on 5/18/2016 and been checking status of our petition since then. To my surprise today, I received a letter from NVC stating that they received our approved petition and will now forward the petition to US Embassy in Manila. Question now is, will we still need NOA2 letter to proceed with medical and interview since they have assigned an MNL#? Your thoughts pls.....
