  1. Hi There, I lost my passport and have an interview coming up soon.

Please what can I do now?

    1. Where people will find when they lost the foreign passport in the US?

    2. I was wondering whether anyone has gone through an AOS interview without a passport?

I do have the following documentation:
    - US Driver's License
    - I-94
    - Marriage record

    - Copy of my US Visa and passport

Will these be enough to support my case even without a passport? Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
    Thanks!

  2. This is your expected income for 2016. You can enter whatever you think you will make this year. Look at line 22 on your tax forms for the last 3 years, and if it shows a steady increase say $1000, then you can simply add that to this year. So for example, 2013 on line 22 it says $30,000, 2014 on line 22 it says $31,000, and 2015 it says $32,000, then you can safely put $33,000 for 2016.

If you did not have a steady increase, then putting an average would suffice. As long as you're already meeting the poverty level, then it REALLY doesn't matter as long as it's within reasonable amount of the last 3 years.

I got it now .Thank you so much :)

  3. Hi Everyone.

    I'm filing I-864 Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment .

Question 2 : asking My current individual annual income :

I'm not sure what number should i put in :

Because on my W2 in 2015 only show my wages . On form 1040 show the same number as W2 + i won the price on that year. So that my total income on Form 1040 is bigger than W2 .

Should i use The number on my W2 in 2015 or total income on Form 1040( US individual Income Tax Return )?

    Please advice

    Thank you

  7. Hi . I 'm married to a U.S citizen and i'm filing I-485 form

I'm under visa J1 not subject to 2 year residence requirement .

My program end on June 19 , 2016 and i have grace period of 30 days to depart the USA .

    1. Should i apply for AOS before my J1 program end ? Or can i apply during my grace period ?

    2 On the Form I-485 , Part 1 : Current USCIS status : J1 .

But i'm not sure what date to put on "Expires on ..."

Based on I-94 : Admit Until Date: D/S
