How long did it take for them to issue the VISA after the interview? Then how long did it take for the DHL to deliver it to your location? Thanks!

I did it this last year and it went smoothly. I took a minister with me to the Laredo bridge. Quick and easy.

Hi I am new here. My wife and step kids are immigrating from Mexico and she and the kids have their interview scheduled July 26, 2016 and we are excited. I am a US citizen and this is for a CR-1 Visa.

I just set the biometric appointment online for a few days before the appointment. Included with that process was selecting where the DHL courier is to deliver docs and visa after approval.

My question is typically how long is the wait for the final packet? We are trying to make all travel arrangements and get prepared and this is something that is weighing heavy on my heart. If the wait is only 2-3 days, then I will have the courier deliver there in Juarez so we can stay the extra days and then cross over. If it is more than that, then she will return to her home town and wait for it to be delivered there. This is all based on expense (i.e. hotels, buses, food, etc). Should I select Juarez or her hometown of Gomez Palacio?
