Hi All,
I have an interview appointment on Sep 29 at the Mumbai Consulate. I am done with all other formalities - biometrics, medical etc. How do I now select for a passport pickup option from the consulate?
Please help!

Hi,
Our application was approved on April 28 but has still not been sent to NVC..anyone else faced such a similar delay or is in a similar situation?
-
Anyone with an acceptance of April end still waiting for their case to be sent to NVC?
Ours was approved on April 28 and it's going to be 2 weeks now but the case still hasn't been sent to Department of State.

anyone used an android phone app called : USCIS case status ?
was curious it has an options like " real time updates " where you get notifications on actions of cases similar to you .
was curious if those are accurate or not ?
Hi...I used it and it really helped me keep sane...especially since my USCIS processing had gone outside of normal processing time. So it helped me look at other cases similar to mine filed around the same date or before and still pending.
We got approved last Friday..so Yay!!

Case approved on 4/19/2017
PD 08/08/2016
I did an online request in the middle of March and then an officer was assigned for follow-up and then the status changed. I believe the adjudications are done in batches, sometimes it helps to give them a notch (either online request or calls with tier two officer) to trigger follow-up.
Just wondering, how long when NVC opens the case from their end after the petition is approved.
Congratulations! So happy for you!
Also I have renewed hope for myself now. Quick question: After how many days of filing a service request was an officer assigned to your case? We filed last Tuesday and still nothing! Any inputs will be welcome! Thanks.

Same here...service request not assigned for processing. PD: August 10.
We have also booked an Infopass appointment for Wednesday.
-
Don't think so..Since the website mentions Processing cases as of Date - 30 August 2016.
But I could be wrong. You could try it on the online form and if it allows you to submit your inquiry you're good to go

Dates updated everyone...People before Aug 30 at Nebraska can file case inquiries now!
@NE Aug filer: Any update on your case?
-
Hey..our PD is Aug 10, so even prior to yours. We faced the same with the Tier 2 - we were not receiving a call back and it had been 2 weeks. Finally one day, my husband and me called them nearly 5 times in one day asking for a response on our pending Tier 2 callback request. He finally received a callback at about 8 in the evening. But really all we got to know was that it was still within processing time and we ought to wait some more. We are near the 8 months mark now. When we began the process, it was averaging 4 months and 10 days.
-
@Aug-12 Filer: Yea we got the same response on speaking to a Tier 2 officer - could take 6-9 months I hope that doesn't happen in reality but its been 8 months already for us so what do I know!
-
Pending applications...anyone hear anything ?

Aug 10 here and waiting

So... I randomly picked 250 I-130 petitions with PD in early August of 2016 and some with an even earlier PD (around mid to late July, 2016) and found that about 195 cases (78%) have been adjudicated (either approved or RFE) from February 1, 2017 to present and the rest are still in "case was received" status (about 17%).... and mine is one of them.... sigh.
Yep..I know..I had this app on my phone which could run 500 application numbers at one go and I know that quite a few applications from Aug 9 are still left..
I uninstalled the app because it was driving me crazy..but it would be interesting to see what the next official update is regarding processing timelines..
At least then there is a legitimate reason to raise an inquiry, schedule an appointment etc.

219 days and counting, called the tier 2 officer but not much of a use until we approved ,she cant give much info..... but she said in 6-8 days they will update new dates on the processing chart.... so will wait and see (PD 8/15)
Hey...quick question..what did you ask to be transferred to a Tier 2 officer.
We called and asked but were given a reference number saying they will call us back. Did you guys face the same thing ?
Anyone else who called a Tier 2 officer face the same thing?

My priority date was August 4, 2016.
You give me hope!
Congratulations...happy for you
So basically even though the official processing data is Aug 9, applications before that are still being processed. We've seen two in the past 2 days.

Still 08/08/2016 processing date. No response from Nebraska. Filed for inquiry and went to check the progress of my inquiry and I got even more angry. As of March 9, 2017, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number **************, is currently not assigned for processing.
I am extremely upset how neglected my case is. It is unacceptable...I filed on 10th August filing and am still waiting
I think we will just have to wait it out till the next official processing time refresh to file an inquiry.
To be honest, I have been following a number of cases for nearly 2 months now. They are processing 9th and 10th August applications still. For some reason there is a huge backlog around those dates. Sad as it is...I think we will just have to wait it out.

Our processing date was August 8th and still nothing from Nebraska. I completed the online inquiry and it instructed me to wait until March 31st for a reply. This is absolutely unacceptable. I swear to god Nebraska is the worst place on earth.
August 10th and waiting...
I called them up too...and was asked to wait till 25th March!

I gota transferred to local office, which is new york city, I went to the local office with my husband today, the lady filed an inquiry ,she said i will hear back in 30-60 days, my od is august 2nd . Nebraska
Got it...I really don't know what is going on. I know for a fact that quite a few August 9 applications are pending and since my PD is Aug 10, I should wait before really worrying. But I see people on this forum with PDs after mine getting approved and it leads me to wonder.
I just hope my application is not lost! If only there was some sort of an update when your file was opened!
This wait has to be the worst of them all!

Anyone here with PD on or before August 10? I WILL go crazy

Me too...PD August 10.
