Actually, I just found out that she wasn't able to find her immunization records in China. That explains why she didn't get a DS-3025. I guess she'll have to get re-immunized.

We filed for an AOS back in March. I recently received a letter requesting that my wife get an I-693. First, I thought that an I-693 isn't needed for K-1 filers. So, why the request? Second, my wife says that she doesn't have any immunization records with her. I believe that they are needed for the I-693. I assume that the immunization records were needed to get her K-1 Visa. If so, can I request a copy? My wife is from China. If anyone has any help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Our K-1 got approved on October 24th! I appreciate everyone's helpful posts.

Hi everyone,

I just checked the status of my fiancees status at https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx. The status says "Ready" and " Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section." However, she hasn't received her packet yet. I'm thinking that she can file the DS-160 and schedule an appointment. Any thoughts?
