You can turn around the same day, technically, as the stamp in your passport will act as a temporary greencard allowing you to travel. How long will the 3 semesters be, overall? Would you be planning to come and live in the USA between semesters?

So, after getting my green card, I'm not required to stay in the US for a year or so before returning to the Philippines?

3 semesters is about a year an a half. I'm planning to finish my studies before returning to the US since the plane ticket is quite expensive. But as I have read somewhere in the internet, I might have a problem keeping my green card if I stay out of the US for more than a year. Is there some sort of travel permit for academic purposes that I can process so that I won't be facing such situation?

I'm from the Philippines and I'll be migrating to the US this August; however, I wish to continue my undergraduate studies here in the Philippines, for I only have 3 semesters left until I obtain my bachelor's degree. How long would I have to stay in the US after getting my green card before I can travel to finish my studies? Also, what other information should I know regarding this situation?
