Hi,

I have to submit certified copies of my birth certificate and marriage certificate to the NVC.

Do I have to apply for copies of these? Or can I make photocopies and get a lawyer to sign that they are genuine?

Thank you for the comments. I didn't think it would be possible. They should have more than one approved physician around the UK.

Hi,

We are just about to start our process with the NVC. We have been reading about the medical having to be at least five days before the interview. However, as I live in Scotland (not close to an airport) I would like to avoid two trips to London. Does anyone know if it is possible to contact the embassy to schedule them closer together to possibly just make one trip? I wouldn't mind having to stay overnight if that was an option.
