Yes, I think we'd be safe to do the process without a lawyer. We are the same age. No criminal records or prior marriages. We've been together 2 years and we've visited each other 3 times in total. My only worry is our financial state. We are both currently unemployed but seeking work. He is having more luck than me and is likely to be well employed by the time the embassy interview comes around. He found an immigration lawyer who mentioned we needing to go down the co-sponsor route. Would that be lawyer worthy or have people managed just fine doing the process that way just fine?

I was just wondering what people did. Is it safer to do the process with a lawyer or just by ourselves? All experiences and opinions are welcome on this!
