Just make a copy of them and bring them with you. But my husband wasn't asked for any of those.
-
Oh really? Well, I'm glad everything is almost over for you, and now you just have to wait for his visa Will it be delivered to his home or will he pick it up? (Please excuse me for asking so many questions hehe. I just want to know so I can prepare my husband for when it's his turn).
Yep! He pre-registered for the pick up of his visa and packet. He is picking it up at MOA. When he had attended the CFO seminar, the other people attending told him it is faster to get your Visa by picking it up instead of having it sent to his house. It takes a LONG time to get to your residence especially if you live in a providence.

Yes, tax transcripts are the best thing that you can send, and you do not have to send the W2 and 1099. But there is one exception; in the instructions for the i-864A, it states the following: "Do not include copies of these Forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your returns rather than a photocopy unless you filed a joint Federal income tax return with your spouse." Meaning that if the (joint/co-)sponsor files jointly with his/her spouse, he/she must also send the W2 and 1099. Perhaps I could be interpreting the instructions wrong I think we're both correct actually lol.
Everything is completed for my husband's case as well; he had his interview scheduled for Sept.12th but we hit a speed bump with his medical/sputum exam.
Congratulations!
What questions did they ask, if you don't mind me asking?
My husband said that it was just basic questions his name and birth, my name and birth. Where I live, how we met, where and when we got married.
He said that it actually took longer at biometrics because they were the one's that looked at pictures and asked more questions.

Husband had his interview yesterday and I am glad to report that he was approved!
Thanks everyone for your help and support!! -
Husband's medical at St. Lukes is done with no problems. 17 more day's till Interview!! :)
-
they said bring it to the interview " and they said that our AOS form is either missing some information on it or incomplete and incorrect
at the bottom of the letter it will state what is missing. Just make sure the person going to the Interview has it. But other than that you should be expecting an Interview Date soon! Congrats!! :)

thank you mestiZa9, for your quick reply
i want to know if some one is having Check list sent to them, is their page still showing 3 N/A or not?
That's exactly how mines was. If you don't mind what does it say you are missing? Did it say to send it back to NVC or bring to the Interview?
-
hey everyone,
We have 3 N/A and then we Called yesterday to confirm that our case in completed or not " they lady said Yes, it is completed now wait for the interview but today
morning i got email with the checklist bla bla is missing i don't know it is real or fake?
can anybody tell me what's going on? and remember we have still 3 N/A on our page
I had the same situation. Mines was that I was missing my cosponsor and my W2 but it stated that my husband would just need it for the interview. But other than that it is still Case Complete

6:45 am you can do the medical anytime. its a first come first serve basis but you can pre register online to save time.
ahh ok I will tell my husband! Congrats again! :)
-
Oh nice you and my hubby got same interview date
Oh, really! 7am? Congrats!! My husband is actually the one who is getting interviewed. Do you know if they have to set up an appointment with St. Lukes or they give them an appointment?

I will let dwheels76 or other people on this forum answer this question. I think you should be fine once you have W2 since NVC only asked for this. But I am not really sure about this. Also you can order your tax transcript by mail. l know Tax transcripts are always safe.
Yah, I would have them mailed but I recently moved so it would go to my last address. I researched it from various blogs and I should be fine with the 1040's and W2's
Thank you!
-
You can just download transcripts online. It's very quick and easy. Tax transcripts includes everything. It's totally up to you.
I have been having a problem requesting it online because I don't have any proof that they need. I paid off my credit cards before this whole process thinking they would look at my credit haha. But if it only says I need 2015's W2, it should be ok, right? Just the W2. Sorry! getting that letter has made me even more nervous haha
-
No it wasn't enough. If you send Tax forms you must send W2's that's why Tax Transcripts are best. So yes you can order.
Thank you dwheels76! I just found our w2's so I am not going to be ordering any Tax Transcripts anymore. Going to send copies to my husband. Should I get a Tax Transcript still? I do have our w2 and tax return 1040.
-
Guys, I need some guidance and tell me my husband's case is ok. So I got a letter stating that Case is complete but I was missing 2015's W2. I did send my co-sponsor and my 1040's but i guess it wasn't enough. I talked to someone and they said getting a tax transcript from IRS would be fine... Please tell me its true! Thank you in advance!
-
Congratulations. I have added you to the spreadsheet.
Thank you! documents were scanned on June 30th CC on July 29th

I am finally seeing 3 n/a!!!! Calling NVC now to confirm it!! :)

Good morning guys!
So just a question I have just finished filling out my spouse's ds-260, with him. Now at the end it says if anyone assisted him. Do I need to put my information there? Do you think putting that I did assist affect the process of the Visa?
Thanks in advance!
-
Yes, you should finish the DS-260 first. And also, I don't think you can get the medical done until you get an interview scheduled. According to St.Luke's Medical Center website (http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml), an interview letter from NVC or interview appointment confirmation from the embassy is needed.
Thank you xmaricrisx! The website you posted is very helpful!

Good evening guys!
So question about the medical, when is my spouse able to make an appointment for his medical? Do I need to finish the ds-260 first?Thank you in advance!
-
I am so bummed right now with my bank! I am currently on hold with NVC because I guess my bank didn't let the payment go through.... It was my mistake because I put my savings account instead of my checking....Has anyone had this problem? Do you think this will mess up the Visa process?
-
Yes I have paid my AOS fee and submitted the DS-261, I did call them and they asked me questions about the DS-261 so I think that was the review, because she said they would post it Paid... ok if its 24 hours then it would probably be unlocked tomorrow, if i am understanding that it should be a full business day... If not I am going to call again tomorrow....
Thank you Rosegrove!!
OK, from your timeline i can see that you have paid your AOS fee; ist that correct?
I can also see that you have your submitted your DS-261. Did you call NVC yet to get it reviewed over the phone?
Once it has been reviewed the IV-Bill will unlock within 24 hrs. Don´t wait for NVC to review it (can take up to two weeks); give them a call and have them review it with you over the phone to save time.
-
So since it has shown "paid" on friday but doesn't give me the option to pay AOS fee's, should I wait a couple of days for the option to pay?
The IV Application will unlock once you have paid the IV Fee and it shows "paid" in CEAC.
AOS will be invoiced first tho so yes, actually you will have pay both fees before you can fill out your application. -
Good evening!
So I wanted to ask when I can fill out the DS-260? Do I need to pay all fee's, the AOS and IV Fee first before being able to fill an application? Or do I need to send the Affidavit of support and supporting documents first?Thank you in advance!
