  1. Oh really? Well, I'm glad everything is almost over for you, and now you just have to wait for his visa :) Will it be delivered to his home or will he pick it up? (Please excuse me for asking so many questions hehe. I just want to know so I can prepare my husband for when it's his turn).

Yep! :) He pre-registered for the pick up of his visa and packet. He is picking it up at MOA. When he had attended the CFO seminar, the other people attending told him it is faster to get your Visa by picking it up instead of having it sent to his house. It takes a LONG time to get to your residence especially if you live in a providence.

  2. Yes, tax transcripts are the best thing that you can send, and you do not have to send the W2 and 1099. But there is one exception; in the instructions for the i-864A, it states the following: "Do not include copies of these Forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your returns rather than a photocopy unless you filed a joint Federal income tax return with your spouse." Meaning that if the (joint/co-)sponsor files jointly with his/her spouse, he/she must also send the W2 and 1099. Perhaps I could be interpreting the instructions wrong  I think we're both correct actually lol.

Everything is completed for my husband's case as well; he had his interview scheduled for Sept.12th but we hit a speed bump with his medical/sputum exam.

    Congratulations! :dancing:

What questions did they ask, if you don't mind me asking?

My husband said that it was just basic questions his name and birth, my name and birth. Where I live, how we met, where and when we got married.

He said that it actually took longer at biometrics because they were the one's that looked at pictures and asked more questions.

  3. hey everyone,

We have 3 N/A and then we Called yesterday to confirm that our case in completed or not " they lady said Yes, it is completed now wait for the interview but today

morning i got email with the checklist bla bla is missing i don't know it is real or fake?

can anybody tell me what's going on? and remember we have still 3 N/A on our page

I had the same situation. Mines was that I was missing my cosponsor and my W2 but it stated that my husband would just need it for the interview. But other than that it is still Case Complete :)

  4. I will let dwheels76 or other people on this forum answer this question. I think you should be fine once you have W2 since NVC only asked for this. But I am not really sure about this. Also you can order your tax transcript by mail. l know Tax transcripts are always safe.

Yah, I would have them mailed but I recently moved so it would go to my last address. I researched it from various blogs and I should be fine with the 1040's and W2's :)

    Thank you!

  5. You can just download transcripts online. It's very quick and easy. Tax transcripts includes everything. It's totally up to you.

I have been having a problem requesting it online because I don't have any proof that they need. I paid off my credit cards before this whole process thinking they would look at my credit haha. But if it only says I need 2015's W2, it should be ok, right? Just the W2. Sorry! getting that letter has made me even more nervous haha

  6. Yes I have paid my AOS fee and submitted the DS-261, I did call them and they asked me questions about the DS-261 so I think that was the review, because she said they would post it Paid... ok if its 24 hours then it would probably be unlocked tomorrow, if i am understanding that it should be a full business day... If not I am going to call again tomorrow....

    Thank you Rosegrove!! :)

OK, from your timeline i can see that you have paid your AOS fee; ist that correct?

I can also see that you have your submitted your DS-261. Did you call NVC yet to get it reviewed over the phone?

Once it has been reviewed the IV-Bill will unlock within 24 hrs. Don´t wait for NVC to review it (can take up to two weeks); give them a call and have them review it with you over the phone to save time.
