Hi all! Thanks for the help.
I became US citizen in August and I recently moved to another state. Do I need to let USCIS know about it or is no longer necessary.
Thanks!

Mine are all from 1-2 months, I am worried that it will affect my n400. BTW, did the IO ask about your employment history too?
Yes she ask where I was working, for how long and what I do there. Also ask for the last 2 jobs.

Please thank u, good luck
My interview was quite easy the IO didnt ask anything outside the N-400 form. About my trips she ask for any trips of more of 6 months and for the last trip I made prior I submit the forms. But that was it regarding this topic.
Thanks to all! I passed the test.

I am in the same situation. How many trips that you took during your time including the one after your n400 pending? Did the IO ask why travel many times?
In my case I have taken 8 trips in total... but all of them from 5 to 17 days.

Thank you all for your replies!!! I really appreciate them!!!

It can take a while for you to receive the letter, did you submit a G-1145? I submitted mine 2/28, CC was charged 3/2, received email/txt notifications 3/7 and received letter on 3/11. Got my biometrics done 3/20.
Yes I submit a G-1145. I filled in Dallas not sure if they take more time or are delayed.

I submitted all my paperwork last week and they received them by the 20, I haven't received the letter nor they haven't charged my credit card yet. Should I be worried that something might be wrong?
Thanks!

if filling under the 3 year rule and in all interactions with USCIS the burden of proof is on the applicant, which means the applicant has to provide enough proof to justify eligibility - since this is a benefit allowed only to those married to a US citizen, the applicant has to send in proof of eligibility = proof of bona fide marriage to at least allow the application to go through and be accepted. As such, documentation has to be more extensive since it is an accelerated benefit by 2 years compared to the 5 yr rule.
Now this doesn't mean attaching everything to the N-400, but essential documents to determine eligibility under the bona fide marriage should be attached. Examples could be:
- Joint financial responsibility ( mortgage, loans, tax returns, bank accounts),
- joint life evidence ( children birth certificates, memberships, health benefits, 401K and other savings/investments beneficiaries listing both spouses)
If you don't want to weigh down the package you could organize it by area and provide the first page and make a note that the entire document can be provided during the interview. So instead of your entire mortgage contract, a copy of the first page, etc

Thanks for your response. I will submit everything.

Here is the risk doing it at the interview, the IO could say he/she needs to go through the newly submitted evidence and therefore can't approve you on the spot. I have also seen cases in the past people only sent what's sufficient (usually 3 years of IRS transcripts), then they also didn't take any additional evidence to the interview and got RFE'd to submit more. Better to do it now than having to deal with later or getting delayed.
The only harm sending it at the time of application is the additional postage money, that's it.
I've send more than what's sufficient for N400 but less than what I've sent for my ROC (feel free to check my timeline for the list of evidences I've sent in both). I took a few more evidence to the interview that I haven't sent with the application just in case. No questions asked to show any marriage related documents except last year's tax transcripts. I already sent them with the original package but the IO said she didn't see them. I showed the copy I took with me and that was it.
Thanks I will do that.

It is not required to send evidence of your 3 year marriage but you have to take it to your interview. It is better to send them and also take the to the interview?
Thanks

Since unforeseen things happen, why not just get the stamp just in case some reason arises where you will be unable to return on your scheduled return date? My OCD's get the better of me at times so I'm always looking ahead to solve possible problems ahead of time lol.
Yes I will do my best to get the stamp on my passport! I am even considering changing the trip to another time. I rather lose money than being in any bad situation.
Thanks for your reply!

Are you scheduled to be returning, or likely to be delayed until, after 23:59 on March 12th?
If no, then it isn't an issue, as that is when your extension letter is valid until. In your case it isn't even borderline - it is a clear six days before expiry.
Walk in depends on how much of an ### they want to be - the staff at federal plaza in manhattan can be hit and miss attitude wise, but so close to travel you should hopefully have a positive result.
Take clear evidence of your imminent trip (a full flight itinerary), your expired card, your extension letter, and your passport.
Thank you for your answer. I just hope CBP wont give me a hard time. Like you said I will be back 6 days before the expiration and I wont be delay.

My NOA will expire on March 12 and I have a flight out of the country from Feb 24 to March 06. I thought that I wouldn't have any issues since is not expired yet.
Do you guys think I will have inconvenience to enter back and If I would like to get my passport stamped I can go to an USCIS office without an appoinment?
Thanks for the answers!

Luckily I received the permanent resident card before traveling, from what I read is ok to travel if the NOA is not expired. Try to return before it expires but lets hope you get your permanent card before your trip.
