no not divorced. we are happily married. I was just considering applying for a Tourist Visa so that we will be able to meet each other.

its been 2 years now and we are still waiting for this AP thing to resolve.

if I apply for a tourist Visa what are the chances of getting it. or will they just straight away deny since my petition is pending under AP?

Hello Everyone,

I am a beneficiary of  I-730, my wife has applied for me. I had my Follow To Join Refugee visa interview at the Islamabad embassy on 1st June 2016.

the interview went well and the CO told me I will get my passport next month. its been 2 years now and the case is still stuck in AP.

my question is while my I-730 Petition is pending, can I apply for Fiancée Visa? or maybe a tourist Visa.
if Yes, what are the chances of getting a Visa?

your suggestions would be highly appreciated.

it happens. there was a guy whom I helped. he was with his family , mother and sister and his father applied for them. they were issued the issued the Visa on the spot. the CO told them to pick up the passports in a weeks time from American express. their interview was in June 2016 as well, after me

if your Passport is expiring in June, you will have to renew it now and send it to them. coz the embassy only print the Visa's on the passport if it is Valid for the next 6 Months. you should confirm from them once in order to save time in the near future

and yeah, I got this form at the time of my interview, the CO asked me to fill it and give it back to him.

Did you get email for another medical after its expiry? Your passport is with VO or its with you? VO kept my passport after the interview. And it's been 5 and half months now.

Yeah everyone thought the same. although that's right and we should be given our Visa's on priority as our partners and family have been waiting first for the approval of their asylum and then  our petition and then in last this AP thing is trying to kill Us.

I did not get any email from the embassy regarding any medical. my interview was on 1st June 1st so that's right that my Medical has expired. and yeah he kept the Passport at the time of interview and then asked me to send my renewed passport since the last one was expired.

after that there's nothing, nothing at all. I got a call this month on the 16th from Embassy and the guy asked me about where I have worked and what contact numbers I have been using. 

nothing after that. lets keep Praying as our God is the biggest and the kindest of all.

Hello Everyone,

I got a call from Islamabad embassy yesterday inquiring about the contact numbers I use and my email address and places I have worked.

the officer was a Paki guy and was talking in Urdu and was very strict in Tone.

this is the first call I have received from the embassy after my interview, my interview was on 1st June 2016.

Does this means they are about to speed up my case or is it just a normal process for the Visa Admin Processing's?

I read most of the people have been visited by the field agents who were inquiring about them.

BTW, my visa case is I-730, follow to join case.

Everyone please kindly share your views

how are you? trust this post finds you well. NO I am still in Pakistan and waiting for the Visa, the CO told me that I will get my visa next month but its been 1.5 year now. I don't check my status on the CEAC website neither I ask the embassy for any update since its very frustrating checking everyday for the same status and getting the same reply from the embassy. I left it in Gods hand when it will come I will get a call.

I am still waiting for my visa and the Case is pending in AP from last June and since then there is no update.

only updates when I email the embassy for an update but they simply reply that the Case is Under AP and cannot be predicted how long will it take.

let me know if someone has been through the same situation and what can be done?

No. they require the Nadra Birth Certificate.

if you are in Karachi, you can get it from the Municipal Office at Saddar.

I had a update too on 9th oct.its was sunday when they work on our case. My case creation date in 23 june 2015 .what is ur date and why ur case is pending, i am checking my case and one another case number one with same case creation date and interview.our both case and urs too update same dates.i think they worked on that cases which is pending from more then 6,7 month cos of some reason. Cos i remmber before mine interview a family was interviewd and concoular officer paakistani told them to send joint sponsor.and by chance my inter went same window same man .he also said to me u need new joint sponsor,which i am still looking.so i am also checking there case .mine and there case update 9th oct which in unusual plus tht day was sunday.what i bleave which case are near to expire they checked them ,if any update made or stil pending for tht reason hich they giv u 221g.so i bleave mine and other case is going t expire 16 feb. thts why thy made update to check somthing,i know u .u are raza rafiq friend who is from abbtaabd.he told me about u.kindly also update me .thanks

my case is an Asylum Case its I-730 Petition.

i had my interview on 1st June and i was approved.

the CO told me i would get my passport with the Visa by the End Of July.

its quite a long time now and i am hoping for a good news very soon.

i had my I-730 Petition (REFUGEE ASYLEE RELATIVE PETITION) interview on 1st June at the Islamabad embassy.

the officer told me that i will get my passport by the end of July but still the Case is Under Admin Processing.

does anyone know if this takes this long or is it just the I-730 petition that is taking this long.

i have read people getting Visa mostly after 3 or 4 Months of AP.

let me know your suggestions if any one had the same experience of I-730 and how does it goes.

my interview was on the 1st of June. the CO told me he has approved the Visa but they need 2 more months to issue the Visa.

i didnt knew about the AP thing as i was not on this Portal at that time.

but now , this AP is driving me crazy....

but hopefull now as JWA2016 has got the Visa now.

lets Pray and be positive, we will get the Visa soon by the grace of GOD.

i have read they perform name checks. but i have never been out of Karachi even still its taking alot of time
