I-751 applied in 09/2018 to CSC and transferred to Nebraska. NOA1 with extension letter received 10/2018, and 18-months expired in 04/2020. Could not get infopass due to the pandemic, and even after they opened in 07/2020, they only do emergency appointments.  Applied for N-400 in 12/2019.

Finally my I-751 is now approved after 23 months.. and they also scheduled an interview for N-400.

Congrats! Your post gives me hope as our timelines are similar. Also applied to CSC and transferred to Nebraska. Did not hear a thing since August 2019 (when I applied N400). I hope your interview goes smoothly.

I-751 is still a rock tied to my feet. Been pending since Sept 2018, just got transferred to Lee's Summit, MO but I live in California. N-400 is steaming ahead, Tier II says to expect an interview in April. I hope so because my lawful status runs out in May (I-751 will expire).

Will be glad to get off the immigration merry-go-round once and for all. Endless stress.

Your timeline is very similar to mine. I live in the bay area. I sent my I-751 in Sep 2018 and N-400 in August 2019. My I-751 will expire in May 2020 as well. The I-751 case was transferred to Lee's Summit MO in Oct 2019.

The USCIS website says estimated case completion time is August 2020.

I totally feel your stress. Good luck to us!

Code 5 here too. Going in next week on wednesday. Do they give a piece of paper that says biometrics completed after youre done? I dont remember much about it from the AOS. Feels like a lifetime ago. And i think they did both my hands with AOS.

I got the original biometrics notice back, with the office stamp ("biometrics processing stamp") and date. I remember that's what I got for AOS biometrics too.

  4. Same like some of the posts before, I got a biometrics notice in late June after getting the notice that my finger prints have been reviewed in March. Walked in this morning 8:15ish for biometrics because I can't go to the scheduled one next week. Location is Oakland CA. It took about 40 minutes; the process was smooth and the staff members were nice and friendly.

I had code 5 on my biometrics appointment notice as well. Right hand four fingers (no thumb), picture, and signature.

    Good luck!

  5. Got my EAD today! Took about 2 days (June 29 - July 1) for the delivery; the status changed from "your card was mailed" to "card was delivered to me by post office". Turns out USCIS doesn't give a tracking number until it was delivered. What's the point of having the tracking number then?

Anyways, finally the wait for EAD is over. And still waiting for i 485 updates... Patience is what I need...

  6. I opened a online inquiry on my EAD two days ago, today is already day 83 since they received my case and nothing! This is so frustration, my old EAD expired on May 12th, and my job is waiting for my new EAD to put me back on payroll, I am not sure how long more they will be willing to wait.... Even more frustrating its that according to visa journey's timeline they are already approving cases from April 7th, my case is April 4th!!!! #######?!?!

We have the same timeline! I think you should submit a request to expedite the EAD for personal financial loss reason. Good luck! Hope you hear back from them soon!

  7. Congrats Yimodu!

    :)

Waiting to cross the '75 day' mark to start pestering them! Hopefully expecting some good news before then.

Thank you! Good luck to you. Seems like your NOA date is about ten days after mine. Hope you hear from them soon!

How did you go about expediting your EAD?

I called the 1-800 number and asked to follow this criterion: "Nonprofit organization whose request is in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States;" I work at a university, so I don't know if my case really fits. But this request didn't really help speeding up my application, I think. I requested on June 13th, and my case was not assigned to anyone to process until 7 business days later. My service request after 75 days was processed much sooner than that.

The whole process is definitely a test of patience.

  8. Got my EAD approved today after sending a request to expedite on June 13th and another service request on June 20th (after hitting the 75th day mark). Finally on June 24 I got a text message informing me a case update. Went to check in the system and got pleasantly surprised that my EAD was approved and a new card was ordered. After 86 days of waiting, it's about time.

Another pleasant surprise was that a few hours later, I got another update from USCIS saying that my 131 travel document was approved. Yay... Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. =)
