  1. I think a lot of int'l marriages are rushed, because...they're rushed into...not specifically cos of the K1.

I've seen a lot of posts scattered from couples that cannot be together physically more often cos of money. Well IMO a marriage is much harder to get out of than a few plane tix charges.

I'm not a big promoter of meeting once or twice and then getting married, but hey...it aint my life either, so ppl will do what's right for them.

I agree with this post. International marriages get rushed into for many factors. Some good some bad.

I especially agree with the last statement though. If some people want to take the chance then so be it. I only wish everyone luck in finding true happiness no matter how it materializes.

  2. There is a hotel in the frankfurt airport. I want to say it is Holiday Inn but I am not sure, it is nice with larger rooms, different then most crampt european style rooms. If you just want a place to sleep and do not want to deal with anything else I recommend it.

  3. Hello

This is my first time posting. I just have a general question that hopefully someone can answer for me. I have a thai fiance who is visiting me right now in california. She is over here on a tourist visa. I do not know much about the visa process. I was planning to fill out all the paperwork and send it in to get married, but my fiance was talking to one of her friends today and her friend told her that since she is already over here on a tourist visa, then the only thing she needs to do is to go get married and then change the visa?? Is this correct? All feedback is appreciated.

I have thought of this possiblity also but we decided its not worth the risk or right to get married on a visa because if you plan to get married on a non-fiance visa it is considered fraud.
