  1. Intllovers- my husband and I filed an I-30 October 2015 and finally had an interview 10 months later in Juarez MX

My husband was denied and banned 10 years

He has never been in any trouble his whole life

He does not drink smoke or use drugs

The ban was simply because he entered and stayed unlawfully in the US FOR 10 years

My husband and I are now home gathering things to start our I-601 (traditional waiver) As you are

    My question to you is

    Do you have an attorney?

Our attorney is saying our waiver could be completely processed in 4-5 months

Has your attorney given and estimated time?

Also out attorney said she can not get the application to the waiver IF we do not have enough paper work they are requesting (They will dismiss us)

Has your I attorney mentioned of this to you?

I'm just quiro is from what others are doing to get this started

  2. I know this is probably a stupid question but I have been reading this thread and noticed that last year the waivers were approved within 4-6 moths and this year people are waiting 8 + months...why the change in processing times?

My I-601 and I 212 were received on May 16th 2016, so I know I have long wait...but this is killing me.

Another person in the chat said that they were working on improving the processing time.

  3. I was in a detention center for 17 days then deported to Venezuela on July 2014.

I can say now that I have a great attorney.

But I can express with words how difficult it's been to be away from my wife from almost 2 years now.

As I mentioned before I went for my interview at the Embassy on Feb 10 and after that per request of my immigration officer we filled the waivers on March 12 and the USCIS Web posted a note saying that they received the package and that they have sent a letter on how they will process my case and if by May 13 I don't have the letter we should call them.

My attorney contacted them and they told her that the letter is on it way.

  4. I was deported on July 11 2016 and sent to Venezuela. I have been separated from my wife (Gay couple) for almost two years now. I went to the Embassy for my interview on Feb 10/2016 and the officer gave us a form saying that we were allowed to filled a I-212 and I- 601. Basically I overstayed and obviously because I was deported these two forms are required.

I already completed my medical and also criminal background. The two forms I-212 and I-601 were filled

  5. Hi everyone,

I'm in Caracas, Venezuela waiting for my I-212&I601, to be processed.

The Embassy stopped processing tourist and business visas and I'm worry they stop all type of immigration process.

    What if they do?

Can I go to another country and finish my process or I will get stuck in Venezuela.

My wife and I are desperated to reunite.

This process is been harsh in every single way.

    I'm confused, please help me.

  6. Hi everyone,

My I-212 and I-601 were filed last February 12th. As of today I don't have a confirmation of received from USCIS Phoenix.

Could you please give some information as to how long it takes to get an answer.

I was deported while in the ISAP program and have been in my birth country Venezuela since July 2014.

I already went for my first interview at the Embassy and the officer gave me a form to request the waiver.

It has been almost two years separated from my wife and home.

It's been hard, but we keep optimistic and looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.

I have been reading some cases of I-212 and they are all different.

Please help me with some information.
