Can anyone let me know how long it take Alabama state to process Ssn and green card mailing

This is my 20 days in us no green card yet and I was told at Ssn office to be patient and wait for 4 weeks

Please visa journey member I will like to seek advice from the house if I can work in USA before getting my green card at hand , just got to the state last two weeks and I'm getting tired of sitting down at home but my wife said I will need my green card and social security number first before I can work, please advice is needed urgently..thanks

I had my interview at Lagos embassy Nigeria and the co only ask me three question

1 what am i doing for a living

2 Can i see some pics

3 where did you meet your wife

After all the questions she said everything look goods but i need a joint sponsor because my wife didnt meet up the poverty guild line, and she hand over a white paper to me for green card fee and a form to submit the joint sponsor at Dhl collection office but it take me almost a month and some days to get it submit at the collection center, I submit it on Tuesday and i got my visa and the package on Friday, dont know if this a happen to anyone in the house, just sharing my experience

thanks dwheels we found a friend of my wife to do it for us. I have submitted it today they said visa will be ready in 10 working days. thanks for taking your time to reply people on here and thanks to everyone that contributed love u all

@ samuuel75, I was in the same line with you, on my interview day the co gave me a white paper for green card said she dont want me to come to the embassy again but i should look for a joint sponsor and submit it to the location center circle that visa would be ready in 2 weeks after getting it. But i will like to know if the joint sponsor send you the original paper or scan it to you to submit at dhl office ?
