I think its okay to make an appointment for the interview since you have received a letter from Manila embassy saying "you can make an appointment". Click the link there that shows the list of requirements needed to bring at the interview. When i was in Germany, i received packet 3 but since i needed to go back to the Philippines, i requested my case file to be transferred. I didn't receive any hard copy letter, I just followed the email. Print the emailed letter from them coz your fiance might need it and also the confirmation letter for the interview once she makes her appointment. t

Oh i envy you! But i am now here in the Philippines so i was thinking maybe it depends on where i am located. And also I'm wondering if they can send it to me even if i was not a registered resident when i was there for like almost 2 years because when my husband was deployed in Germany i only got there thru SOFA card because he's in the Army. t

Hi everyone! Does anybody knows how long it will take to receive the police clearance from Germany? It's been a month since I sent the request to Bundesamt für Justiz in Bonn,Germany and when i tracked it, it was delivered and received by one of their employees there. Hello again! I would like to ask if there is a way I could download a form to be validated at BPI bank? I called them and said go to one of the Manila embassy websites and check for the form. Unfortunately, I could not find it and I don't know where to download it. All i saw was for the non immigrant and for the K1 category. Please help. Thanks in advance

So, we really need to get a police certificate then. We better do it right away coz we only have a few weeks left here. Do they send it to Philippines too just in case we are not here anymore?

Yes, i read the requirements again and i think we are good. But is it ok if i dont provide police certificate from here even if i spend almost 2 years here in germany? Coz they only give police certificate if you are a citizen or in their system. So nbi from Philippines is just okay?

Yes, it was at the US Consulate Germany. They were asking for my requirements (packet 3) but unfortunately we dont have enought time to send it because we will be leaving soon and thats why we requested to transfer it to Manila. We are still holding on to our requirements and wait until come home and wait for what the USEM is gonna say or need.

Hi. Another question..If Manila have my case file. Are they gonna send us the list of requirements to send to NVC? Coz they say that the requirements has to go to the NVC first and check it then forward it to the embassy if its ready and complete? Or should i wait for Manila's notice or letter and see what thay say? Coz we have not submitted any requirements yet.Now im worried it will take long?

Ok Hank, but i appreciate again your help. Hopefully it is still here in Germany.,so the passport section can help us expedite the visa thing. They sent the case file this May 11th so i am hoping it is still around here

It says " transfer in progress" and that my US Visa case has been transferred to another US Consular office and check on a later date for the status again.. thats what it says in the CEAC.

Hello Hank! I would like to know if you have an idea if how many weeks before germany send my case file to Philippines? Do you think it is still here in Germany? Coz we went to the passport office here and said they can expedite it since we will be leaving Germany next month.but they need to know where is the exact location of my file.

I will check if i still have my old passport back home. I am not sure if DFA had my old passport.

Hi Hank! Here i go again . Can i change my DS 260? Coz my case number here is from Germany? And also, can i change some infos like my passport number and expiration date. Because now i have a new passport which is under my married name. The ones in my ds 260 was the old one but not expired yet, but i changed my passport to my married name so the details about my passport does not match with my new one.

This is what i received from US Consul in Germany. My question is, should I wait for their lists of requirements before i send it to them and wait for their instructions again? So i got to hold on to my requirements?

They asked for the contact address of USEM and emailed it to them. Said they will transfer the case file immediately for further processing once they have the contact address and USEM will let us know the next step. So, we will just wait for the email of USEM and continue our processing when i get back home.

Hi again! My husband emailed the US consul here in Germany saying we will transfer my case file to Manila Embassy. They replied friday and said that they received the noticed and now they will forward the email/inquiry about the processing. So now, where can i send all the documents that was listed in the letter(packet 3)? Should we send it to Manila Embassy now? Really, i am a bit confuse especially the codes that they use.

The packet 3 came from the General Consulate of US here in Frankfurt, Germany, so instead of waiting for me to go back home, we will send the requirements to them.And then we will just inform them about the change of address and transfer of case file. Would that be okay if we do that?

Since my husband is leaving for US in a couple of days for 3 days only, would it be okay if he would just send the documents to the NVC there, not the NVC here in Germany? And then emailed the request letter to the Embassy in Manila?
