hey guys I am a May filer and Scan date was May 30th yesterday night when I checked my case status I saw 3 NAs and I can believe it is this quick only 16 days I am waiting the clock to hit 7 then call NVC

hopefully it is a case complete signal LOL

Hey there we are in a similar situation.

My husband (petitioner) is the only sponsor on our i864. His total income of 2015 is sufficient to sponsoring me.

But we have some questions in part 6 questions 18-20.

He didn't file the 3 more recent tax years.

He filed 2014 and 2015 but didn't file 2013 for the reason that he was taken by his parents to Mexico at the age of 12, raised in Mexico for more than 10 years and didn't back to USA till 2014.

So what should we do?

-He marked NO in 18a "Have you filed a Federal income tax return for each of the 3 most recent tax years?"

-Do we have to send just the 2015 IRS tax transcript? Or do we have to send both 2015,2014?

-19c.- "3rd most recent year:" leave it in blank?

-20.- "I was not required to file..." Do we have to check that box?

-And last question. Do we have to send a letter with an explanation why he didn't file 2013??

Your uscis case status will change from "case was approved" to "case was sent to the department of state". After that you have to keep calling NVC to find out if your case has arrived.

This is our case

I130 approved: May 6th

Case was sent to NVC: May 11th

Case was received at NVC on May 13th

Then we got a case number and IIN on May 27th

We got our case number on may 27th and we already filled the ds261 form, but we aren't able to pay the AOS fee a red box pops up mentioning the case termination... Do we have to wait or should we call nvc?

I've seen that many others had happened to them.

Yaaaay! Congrats. There's not a lot of nay filers from Mexico on VJ or maybe there are but they haven't been seen. Glad to have someone accompanying me haha congratulations!!!

We are waiting for our case number, NVC received our case on May 13, so we hope we can get our case number this week or maybe next.

Noa2: May 6th (NSC)

Case was sent to NVC: May 11th

Then we start calling NVC on May 16th,

First they said our case arrived on may 9th after two days of calling they said it arrived on may 13th, and there is no case number yet, anyway the good thing is that they already have it.

We got our NOA2 on May 6th NSC, then we got a status change on the USCIS website on May 11 "My case was sent to de Department of State".

I just called the NVC today. They told me my case was recived on May 9th and there is no case number yet.

So I think we just have to wait a few more days for our case number.
