How many days it took you to receive your passport? I have heard that it's closer to 2 weeks for E3 visa at the moment instead of the usual 3 days. Has anyone been for their interview in Sydney in the past few months?

The interview could be expected to go by relatively quickly or could potentially take hours waiting..

My interview is scheduled in Sydney at 8.45am. I am from QLD and need to fly back that same day. I am hoping I will be out of the consulate no later than 12pm. Would it be safe to book a flight for 2pm home or is that too much a risk? That gives me just under 5 hours from my interview time to when I must get to airport for check in. Would 4pm flight out be safer? I have no idea what a safe time-frame would be to allow myself.

Would love any comments from anyone with experience doing this.

I have mine for around the same time. I booked a flight back to Brisbane around 7pm just in-case there is any traffic.

If you have not, you should follow up your written request with a service request over the phone. Hopefully they will process this in time before your petition is approved and sent to NVC, in which case you will then need to try to catch the petition at NVC for withdrawal or more likely need to contact the embassy to withdraw. Having gone through the process myself, I will say that from the service center side it took about 60 days to get the letter in the mail confirming that my case was closed.

We have not yet receive our NOA2 and have sent a letter to withdrawal our application

I'm wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to receive the confirmation notice that the CSC received a withdrawal for a K1 petition.

The withdrawal letter arrived at the CSC 2.5 weeks ago. Is it normal we haven't received anything yet?
