I see you guys have already had your fingerprints done at the portland office. 

Wanted to know what was the cell phone policy on the pdx office. I know the receipt notice says not allowed but I would need to take it to call a cab later. Do they have some sort of lockbox over there where they can hold/store the devices.

I left mine in the car but I don't think you'll have any trouble brining it inside as long as it is on silent. Other people had their cellphones and the security at the door didn't care.

Couple of updates from my side:

#1) Last week I was out of the country on vacation (in beautiful Dominica watching test match cricket). I was traveling with an ADIT stamp on my passport. I had immigration at San Juan, Puerto Rico. The officer escalated my case to secondary. They asked a few questions (purpose of travel, # of days, occupation, etc.) and I was out without any problems.

#2) Today I received my approval letter form the Atlanta office with date of decision 05/10.

FYI I was able to get a passport stamp two weeks in advance of the NOA date + 1 year.

FYI all, today, I was able to get the I-551 one year extension stamp on my passport even though I'm still more than two weeks out from the one year anniversary of the date on the I-797 letter. It probably just depends on the officer you deal with on whether they refuse to stamp your passport.

I had my biometrics recorded today at Portland. My biometrics appointment letter was issued for the Atlanta ASC but I moved to Oregon recently for a job. I didn't have any problems. In fact, the lady at the counter said "Atlanta! That's far away!". She was however adamant in seeing everybody's green card so don't leave it at home. My appointment was for 9 am but I got there around 8.40 am and was out right around 9.

I received my I-797 Notice of Action (Receipt Date 04/26/2016, Receipt Time: 18:33) from VSC today.

This morning (Friday, May 13th, 2016) I see that my bank account reflects "ACH Hold VSC Field office payment on 05/13" for $590.

My I751 package had arrived at VSC on April 25th.

Fellow filers,

I need some advice. In my original I-751 submission, I did not include my tax return/account transcripts from the IRS (didn't know about them). Now that I have them, should I go ahead and mail them to the VSC along with a cover letter? My original submission arrived at VSC on 04/25/16 but as of 05/03/16, neither has my check been cashed, nor have I received the NOA. Will sending these documents separately push me to the back of the processing queue?

Friday, April 22nd by USPS 3-day priority.

Can you please add me to the table. My I-751 packet was delivered to the Vermont Service Center (St. Albans) on April 25 2016.
