  1. Hi Mena Ladies some of you might remember me from a few years ago. Well after a very loooooooooooooong journey my husband finally has his interview at the London embassy tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. For thoes of you that know our story I ask that you please keep us in your prayers tonight so that tomorrow God will be with us during our interview.

    Thank you

    =0)

  2. Congratulations to all the recent approvals on this thread! Wow March has really been a busy month.

Thank you for the well wishes on the big day tomorrow. I'm in London now and will be attending the interview with my hubby. Honestly, I'm a nervous wreck and I'm not even the one they are going to interview. I suppose it's due to the long and difficult journey that we have had to get here. Please keep us in your prayers tonight and tomorrow morning.

  3. We received both our packet 4s in the mail today (one with the original March 30 date and one with the new April 28 date). We are praying REALLY REALLY HARD that we don't have to be put on AP after the interview. I was reading through VJ again and I found two people in similar situations who were NOT put on AP (because they did not have common names the members' both assumed) my fiance does not have a common name either, so hopefully we are not put on AP either afterward.

Im with you on that. I was so happy to read Sadeyes' update, about being out of AP. My husband was also born and raised in the UK but of Pakistani orgin. We were in AP for nearly 2 years waiting for USCIS to approve our application. Hopefully that means that they have completed all their checks and we wont have to face them again after the interview. I pray to God that he helps us. We waited so long for this day and now the big day is tomorrow.

  4. Hey Everyone,

I was wondering what everyone's packet 4 actually had in it because Nic got a letter with his interview date and time in the mail. It said there is suppose to be an IV-19 enclosed but there was only the letter. Can anyone help me? Congrats on the approvals!

Hey we got the same interview date!!!

  5. My hubby had his medical yesterday and he told me that apart from the regular medical stuff the female asian doctor asked him questions almost as if he were at the interivew already. For thoes of you who have had the medical, did you have any of these questions asked?

    Where did you meet?

What visa are you applying for?

    Is your wife here?

    Where does she work?

    Do you fight?

What sort of job will you get in the states?

    Have you been married before?

You have two kids are they from your wife?

Do you have a crimminal record?

Hubby used to smoke so she asked him how many cigs he had a day. She then did a lungs test and told him that his lugs were as if he never smoked before.

They took his Xray, took some blood out, then he was asked to drop his pants for the under the waist inspection.

Other than that she told him that all seemd fine except that he had high blood pressure. And my husband said it was probably because of the 2 cups of coffee he had.

Then Doc asked if he wanted to have his shots done there for 60 pounds t, and he said no because he could get them free from his doctor. The doc also told him that since he was doing a K3, he could also get the shots done in the states.

So did any one else get grilled at their medical? Is that unusual?

  6. Just wanting to give my husband a Brirts perspective of Houston. Please feel free to talk about your pros and cons. How are you finding life in Houston? Any cool hang out places from your point of view? Over all what do you think of life in Houston vs the changes made moving from London? I know there are a few British pubs there as well as a British school for thoes who have kids. Any one checked these out yet?
