  1. My wife as filed anulement paper in philippines. I am a US resident, retired, most of my time is here in philippines, here on a tourist visa, extending e ery 2-3 months. After she gets her anulement papers what is,eaisest to file. Back ground on me. I have already sponsor a fiance visa with a fulipina but after a few years she filed for divorce, move in with younger filipino man and took our philippine property but still will take a chance on love, ww have been together almost 3 years the new one.

  2. My GF of course is in philippines with her children staying in our condo. i will be going home soon with the intentions of staying several months. would it be better to start the process over there in manila or start from the USA. at this time she really does not know if coming to America is what she wants.I a,m more happy in Philippines and know that my retirement funds go much farther there than the US.

  3. It has been several months since I posted here. My wife and I are doing great. It is time to gather up all documents to help remove conditions on my wife residence. At this I have the package just about completed.

My question is do we need passport type photos of her in the package??

Exactly when do we filed? We remember the lady in Sacrmento telling us not to file to early or they would not accept.

  4. Salve and I had our interview today in Sacramento, Ca. We had to wait about 15 minutes after time of our appointment in a very hot waiting room. We had an Asian interviewer who was very pleasant. She asked for our passports, bank statements , our rental contract, our pictures which we gave her all of them since we copied on regular 8" X 11" paper, she ask for Salve's social security card, asked Salve her mother and fathers full name. her birth date, if she had worked here in the USA( no EAD very important). Then she turned to me asked if I had any children (only one who is grown and on his on) and if I was working? My answer was no. I am on workers Comp wages with my union disability retirement approved after my workers comp case is settled.

SHE THEN SAID WE WERE APPROVED AND TO SEND THE EAD CARD BACK WHEN WE RECEIVE IT. SHE EXPLAINED THAT WE WILL HAVE TO REAPPLY IN 2 YEARS TO REMOVE THE CONDITIONAL GREEN CARD.

WE ARE DONE "PRAISE THE LORD HE IS SO GREAT"

THANKS TO EVERYONE HERE FOR ALL YOUR ADVISE AND SUPPORT NOW WE CAN MAKE THAT BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Salve and I just returned from the FAMOUS CALIFORNIA DMV. This is our 3rd trip. We took with us her passport with valid I-94, her brand new Social Security card in maiden name but it has been changed to our married name at the SSA last Friday. Plus all the orginial documents she took with her on her K-1 INTERVIEW IN Taiwan just in case they asked for something. This DMV worker took her passport to his supervisior and came back and told us it will be a waste of money because the I-94 will expire in May 2007. I tried to tell him she was here on a fiance visa and we have already got married(had orginial marriage certificate to) but no way he would listen.

I want to put Salve in driving school but this DMV thing is driving me crazy.

Just to let anyone who wants to know we are doing fine. We got married 3/3/07 and still honeymooning.

  6. I am preparing our AOS package and need adivse on the I-864 form Part 1 Question 1 about indicating myself as the first of two joint sponsors and my mom as the seconf of two joint sponsors. We used my mom as a back up on the 129 package due to me being on workers comp at this time and had no problems with the 129 support thing. This is the only thing I am concern with since I meet the requirement on assets and income if they use my wages from workers comp since i have been on it now for 15 months. my mom meets the requirement on income and assets.

Any quick but good advise will be appreciated.

  7. WE ARE MARRIED NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After we get back home we have Salve's AOS paper almost ready but still need to get medical info transfered to I-693. I call one civil surgeon a nd he wanted $200.00 bucks just to do paper work. Is this the going price??????????

If anyone knows of one in San Francisco to Sacramento please let me know by Private Message. We are still on our honeymoon in the Smokey Mountains and will be home next week. WE NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. My Salve called and her flight from Taiwan has been postponed till 10:am in Morning (2/707 her time. We are sad but I put her in God's hands so I am not worried. First she was going to get to see San Francisco' afternoon traffic. I think can be worse than Manila. I told her we have been waiting so long another 12 hours will not hurt as bad. I told her though I will not clean my home no more since I have been working on it for the past month(LOL).

I love my Salve so much. We plan on spending the next week just enjoying seeing, touching and loving each other in person other than cam and phone. Everyone is so excited to see my baba.

This is a great place for information and support. (L):wub:

  9. Salve just called WE ARE APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She had her first interview Jan. 19 but the consulte in Taiwan told her all the paper work was ok but he needed to check on something and he would call her this week. Our hearts was broken but our FAITH in ou GOD did not lets give up. They called yesterday told her to bring passport and letter he gave her to embassy. Him and another woman went in a private office, she thought the worse, but the only question was about my past prolbems that happen 20 years ago. Of course she told them yes i told her everything plus sent her a copy of the background check I had ran on myself. He said why did you not tell me because if you had told me you would have been approved last week. GOD IS SO GREAT

So ladies if your fiances have had problems in the past and he has told you speak up.

  10. Anyone here have any experience with overseas brokers?

My Salve has her interview on the 19th of this month and only recieve notification and medical papers last thursday. She just called me to tell me the broker said maybe next Thursday or Friday before she can get her passport for medical. to me that is not enought time for medical and results before interview. My Salve works from7pm. to 7am. She is going to her broker afterwork to see the problem. to me it is about money. I told her to talk to him and if he refuses to offer a BRIBE (more money) If not she will not have her medical done before interview.

Can anyone help us? She is in Taiwanif that helps.

  11. We recieved Salve's interview date of Jan. 19, 2007. My poor baby was going today for medical and realize she had to have passport. As an Overseas Worker her broker has hold it hostage. She faxed a request yesterday morning and hopefully recieve Monday or Tuesday at the cost of 2500 nit or right at $80.00 US dollars. She did get more 2"x2" photo's they are requiring 6 just for the medical. This is just a minor setback after going thru all this. We are still very excited and if God continues blessing us she should have visa in hand by the 25th of Jan. 2007. I asked her how long will it take to be here she said as fast as plane carries.(LOL)

I asked about plane ticket and we both agreed no plane ticket till visa in hand. Plus we have to let her broker buy the ticket so he can make a few more dollars off her. I know as soon as I see her walkin out of San Francisco's POE we will forget any difficulties we had concerning visa. I LOVE THIS LADY SO MUCH (L)(F)

  12. Last night my dear Salve recieved a call frm the US Embassy in Taiwan concerning our case. We are so happy and excited. This has been a very long 3 weeks waiting after the MAJOR mistake by NVC. Our case got sent to Phillipines instead of Taiwan where Salve is living. Salve made 2 trips getting our case transferred and I contacted 3 US senators. Believe it or not Lamar Alexandar of Tennessee and Dianne Feinstein of California both emailed Taiwan and Manila about our case. Both senators were contacted and told the case left Manila on 12/6/06. I contacted the consulte in Taiwan on the 12 th and was told that it takes 4 weeks for the case to be in their hands. I was assured that we would be contacted the day they recieved the case. It happen they called and told Salve the case should be in her hands today.

My baby has everything ready except medical and interview date. She will return the packet the next working day plus a phone call to consulte. We are almost there!!!!!!!!! Salve called with the news last night telling me she will be home soon. We held the phone for 30 minutes laughing and crying together. I will report info later concerning medical and interview. :D(L)

  13. The reason I all writing is from my past experience recently with my orginial 129-f petition. Since the first day I fell in love with my Salve I read everything I could on filing the petition myself. We were approved 10/18/06. We were so happy just knowing we are closer to be together for ever and ever. I recieved the imporant letter from NVC and was knocked backwards to see our case number began with MNL and was sent to Manila Embassy. Even thou my Salve is flipino she is working on contract in Taiwan and I had indicated that several places on all our paperwork except one place and that was on the biographicial 325's.

I call Mr. Ray Bacon and he went over the orginial petition and indicated this had to be a NVC mistake. Well I called them of course the petition was already in process and no one would walk that extra mile to help there. I called the US Embassy in Taiwan and talked with a very nice lady who informed me the only thing they could do was to have Salve come to the embassy with her passport and visa showing she was a resident of Taiwan at the present time.

My dear Salve after working 12 hours on night shift took taxi well prepared with all the documents I had sent her the previous week. Of course she never made past the information desk but refused to leave till someone help her(GREAT WOMAN).They asked for the NVC letter I recieved which she had not receieved yet. So back home disappointed but yet she discovered that these clerks are just people following rules.

Again she return the next morning this time prepared with a copy of my NVC letter and a completed application for nonimmigrant visa as she was told too. I am sitting in California worried that she would not succeed I call the Taiwan Embassy at the same time she should have been at the information desk . The same lady answered that I had talked to before. I explained that Salve had a little problem yesterday and I want this lady to help us anyway possible. THANK GOD FOR HIS BLESSINGS. The next phone call I recieved was Salve , I could hear the smile on her beautiful face. They are getting our case transferred to Taiwan from Manila. The ladies were so nice to her they reviewed our support documents and other materials she needs for interview. They told her she had everything but the medical but that was needed as soon as they recieved case.

This is a set back of 1-2 months but stiil the ladies said for us to call the 2nd week in December to see if they have case and if so there is still a chance for her to be here in late December.

The MORAL of our story is TRIPLE CHECK ALL ANSWERS ON PETITION one little mistake has caused us the possiblility of being together for Christmas.

  14. I truly feel sorry for both of you.He should of MANED up by now. I can say this with great experience since I just went thru the same with a woman I had thought I was married to for 18 years. I shieled my sweet Salve from as much as I could but I knew if she was not told the truth this k8ind of thing could have happen to me. I waited almost 14 months before everthing was final and really did not trust till i recieved documents from court.

This is not the end of the world for you. It may be very hard to earn trust back but if you two love each other truly GIVE IT A CHANCE. Give each other a little time apart and then discuss it out and if you cannot work it out it then will be for the best.

I Pray for both of you MAY GOD BLESS

  15. Early this morning in I called the NVC concering our case. A kind lady informed me our case had been sent to Manila instead of Taiwan where we requested in the orginal petition. Then I recieved in todays mail the letter confitming this. I was advised to call taiwan Embassy to have them request the file to them since this is where Salve is living. WHAT A BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Christmas is out of the question. :(

  16. Everyone we ewcieved the NOA2 and I just called NVC and they say our case has not been recieved. In the meantime I have already sent Salve the I-134 with all supporting documents plus proof of continuing relationship that I have on my end.

I have downloaded and filled out the following forms to send Friday; DS-157, DS-230 Part 1 ann 2, DS-156, and 156K. We petition for a K-1 fiance~so is there anything I miss so that We can be ready as she recieves the packets?

Also I was surfing internet and ran accross a site that explained each form , the fees and the way to package it for interview. Does anyone know of such site??????????????????
