How did you find out the exact date the passport would be returned? My fiancé had his interview on July 19th, was approved and we're still waiting on the passport to be ready for pickup.

You should be able to track your passport on us travel docs....it will let you know when is ready to pick up.

How are you tracking your visa?

Did you check on MBE?

Put your passport number there, it will either say its still with the embassy, preparing to leave for destination or delivered.

mine showed under AP for like those 3 weeks

after 4th week changed to Passport ready for pickup

Brian did you select a pick up spot mega centro es una?? The postal system is bad if you asked them to hold that you would pick up it may be waiting for you at the document pick up location you selected.

Hola, we chose to be delivered in Santiago, but y checked and is still under AP on ceac and I checked on travel docs as well..... its being 8 days... since we have the interview...working days.

it took me nearly 3 weeks in India after my K1 visa interview to receive email to collect my passport

what does your case status say online ??? because thats the key to receive your passport

Your welcome! One thing I have learned being on VJ...just when you think your situation is the worst there is someone else suffering more than you. It all works out in the end. My fiance always tells me no one can keep apart what Jah (God) put together...not even the embassy. Keep the faith Brian8484. You will see issued soon!

The embassy information states it takes 1-3 weeks to issue visas. Remember you just interviewed 8 business days ago.

So just try to have some patience. A nightmare is a denial. A nightmare is waiting 2 years for your K1 process to be completed. A nightmare is being in AP for years. You'll be just fine!

It's been almost 10 days, and nothing yet.....

Oh wow! That is quite strange. I had my interview June 14 but I was given a 221G to submit additional documents that's why it took longer. The AP status changed to "Ready" only this Tuesday, June 28. Maybe it's best to call the embassy to check on your status?

I think that your passport is being shipped back to you I am waiting for my passport myself. I just checked my case status via ceac.state.gov and it read "ISSUED". Hurray!!

Now I keep checking the ustraveldocs site but it still says "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted". And now we wait lol

I checked the CEAC as well every day...all day... and my case is under AP since last Friday June 24th. My interview was June 21, and on June 22 it was under AP, and on June 23rd it was "issued" and on the june 24, changed to AP again.....

I checked travel docs, and yesterday the status changed to "Your passport is being delivered to post" and it changed again recently (today) to " your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate." NOT SURE WHAT THIS MEANS...... A BIT CONFUSE NOW.
