I have what might be a silly question. My husband has been issued his K-3 visa and will travel next month!!! I have received info regarding the I-30 which was improved and is not at the NVC. Does this process need to be abandoned since he will apply for adjustment of status? I'm not sure what to do. I emailed the NVC but I'm not sure about response time from them.

Does anyone know after your K-3 is approved how long you have to enter the US? My husband needs to stay about a month after approval. Also our I-30 was approved so will that cause any problems if he has not entered and it begins moving???? Thanks

It all depends on your Embassy as others have said. Now you should start connecting with people using that Embassy b/c embassies tend to often do things there own way and change things around. I got my record number from NVC on the 3rd and the letter on the 8th. I called Rio de Janeiro at the embassy and my interview was already scheduled for Sept. 12th. Super fast but that is Rio I have also found out from recent interviewees that they dont both to send packets anymore and you download it all from embassy website. If I had not known that there is a chance we would have never been notified b/c thats they way its going in Rio now so check up on it!!

But I will say I couls just cry so hard beacause my case has not been touched since July 3rd and I can't even get a answer if they recieived my rfe.The postal system said yes. I guess I just would like a sign of live with my case. Sorry I just nned to talk about it beofre I go more crazy

This whole process could make anyone crazy. I have been very lucky but it has a lot to do with networking. Have you contacted a congressman or senator yet. Maybe they will be helpful or maybe not but it never hurts to try. I never even got a touch but I did get two referrals and never a confirmation of receiving those then approved out of the blue and super fast. Remember the squeaky wheel gets the oil so start writing letters and making phone calls. Good luck and keep your head up!!!!

Just an update for those approved K-3's waiting to hear from NVC. My I-129F was approved on the 24th of July and today I received my number from the NVC for the consulate in Rio so its looks like about the average wait time for this time of year. Pretty fast!!!! Good luck!!! Its exciting to see people finally getting approvals again.

Yeah I can't believe that my I-30 was already approved. I am still preceding with K-3 right now but this is super fast!!!! Even after the transfer!!!!

So the best thing that has happened to me since I met my husband was last night when I received my email that our i-129F got approved in Missouri!!!!! I am so happy I can't believe it. I thought I should let others know that K-3 should start moving soon since my got approved.

Just received e-mail from MSC that our I-129F has been approved!!!! I received the duplicate IMBRA RFE Monday, 6-17 and mailed it snail mail Tuesday, 6-18 so MSC could not have received and processed it by 6-20. This gives everyone hope that MSC is not waiting on the duplicate RFE's to approve these applications.

Yes I live in VA so a drive is no big deal. People can also lobby outside of their local office and if we contact enough news and media then people will know about it. We should try to set a date and all of us come up with people to contact!!!! I'm not really sure how to contact everyone on this server etc. But lets figure something out b/c I feel like almost everyone is down to do this.

PS This does not include the many who don't have any idea that these websites exist and are completely in the dark.

I was just browsing the K1 forum for IMBRA news and a woman had suggested doing a protest- peaceful march at Capital Hill over all the BS us K Visa petitioners are going through. She pointed out that it did work well for other immigrants back in May. Also apparently this happened at the Texas service center years back and got some peitions moving. Its sounds kinda extreme but when I talk to the average American no one knows how us spouses actually have to wait just to have our significant other enter the country. I'm sure they don't realize as well that if you are engaged to someone you also have to wait for your wedding and if IMBRA is involved maybe cancel. Perhaps this sounds extreme but I'm tired of hearing about strengthing our border controls and amnesty for illegals when nothing is happening for those of us who are following Uncle Sam's guidelines. We are all diligent here and willing to go the extra mile so what could it hurt???????

I thought the same thing to myself about protesting in DC. Its funny but the average American assumes that if you are married especially that you can at least visit your spouse. I'm assuming they would probably also assume that if you are in love and engaged too that you would be able to go ahead and get married in a free country. We are all very diligent and frustrated on this website so we should come up with something even possible a petition. I'm not sure how that all goes but I will keep my eyes and ears open. We gotta let people know.

VSC is processing K1 with April 3rd, 2006 date. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does it mean they have past the IMBRA problems? It must be good for K3 as well.

Either that or since they gave us with I-130 the boot to CSC maybe they just lightened their own workload!!!! Let's all keep our fingers crossed though. I know we have to hear something soon.

after getting the RFE for my I129F on Saturday, I went to check my profiles on the USCIS website-no change but to my surprise I had 2 emails sayingthat my I130 has been sent to california, this must mean more wait time? Or should I be happy?????????

Don't worry its not just two of you. Today i received my email that my file had been transfered today or would be tomorrow to CSC. Things just keep getting better and better.

finally the k3 &k4 visa is in the embassy

the relieve is great but the think is bother me is that the 130 is send to my regional revue before the approval of 129f for interview even me & my wife been married for 3 years our baby know is 2&half years old

i did go to local office they told me that is ok the k3 is junction of the 130 so they will be no problem

k3 can be affected by the 130 ?

whats your opinion?

So are you someone who got a NOA2 after your IMBRA letter? I couldn't see your timeline but everyone here on the forum is dying to see a K3 get approved so please let us know!!!!

I am in dilema. I got IMBRA RFE on July 3rd like most of you and sent it back through overnight delivery which has been received by USCIS. But the USCIS website neither shows any touch(es) nor i ever got any email from them. Is this happening to any one else.? I have subscribed for the email option and i visit the website frequently but No touch ever in the past few months but yet i get the snail mail on time. Can you guys plz shed some light on this.?

Same here but after my senators office spoke to them it appears they immediately sent me another IMBRA form as if I had never received one. I'm guessing maybe they did not get yours either so you may wanna contact them. Mine of course managed to get shredded in the post office sorter too. Ahh don't you just love dealing with government agencies.
