For case complete/documentarily qualified at NVC it's a gamble. Some people get case complete/dq after a few hours, other people wait 1-2 months for case complete. For interview, you won't get the letter until after NVC deems you documentarily qualified, and then after dq it depends on the embassy for how long it takes to get your interview letter, as different embassies have different interview backlogs. You can check out the Philippines forum to get maybe a better feel of how long from DQ to interview for PH, but for now, here is the forum for NVC filers where you can share your own NVC progress as well as see others' timelines at NVC currently:
thank you so much for your reply this is very helpful i really appreciate it. I guess i should wait and be patient like every one else:)

Im in the Philippines right now and my husband is in the US,

Im From the Philippines currently in a Refugee Visa (G1 -visa) in South Korea, and my Fiancee is a US army man from United states of America. We are both in South Korea right now and we want to get married, Because his in military, marriage in korea is a long process.we dont like to do the lengthy Process.
He told me that the best option he see is the Proxy Marriage.
My concern is
- After we get the Marriage License can i process it in the US embassy in South Korea? Or do i need to go home and do the process of my IR1 or CR1 in the Philippines.
- Does Doing Proxy marriage and having official Marriage License might cancel my Refugee visa in South Korea? Because I'm hoping i can stay while processing my CR1 or IR1 in south Korea and while waiting for it i can still do part time jobs and save a little before going to US.
- Does a Proxy Marriage License will be recognize by the Philippine Law? Because i need to Register our Marriage License in the Philippines as my Fiancee want to have Dual Citizenship and own some property in the Philippines.
- How long is the process of CR1 or IR1 for me to be able to fly to US?
- What are the other problem or conflict that we need to consider and be prepared of?

Ours was received March 9th.
Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between May 9, 2016 and May 15, 2016*.

Hello, if you read on here it is hard to determine how exactly the USCIS processes out applications.
Having said this we had a rather unique situation when I applied. I put in the package a lot of detailed information and thought for sure a RFE was still going to happen. (I won't go into details here in the public forum)
Luckily, it was approved in 49 days and now we have the interview scheduled and we are very excited. She is in the process getting all the necessary laboratory, medical and the appointment to have her fingerprints taken.
Like someone said above, once you receive the NOA2, the process seems faster.
The best thing to do is communicate with each other, stay positive and one morning when you wake you will have the text and email from the USCIS telling you your application was approved!
Good Luck!
Dwight
Thank you so much

Not 3 months without an expedite even that is pushing it.
Right now you file and wait about 1-2 weeks for you NOA1. Then another 2 months (IF everything goes well and no RFE) till you get NOA2. Then wait 3 weeks for NVC case number then about another week to reach your embassy where you'll have your interview and depending on each embassy there may or may not be a certain waiting time for that.
There is an expedite for military people but I don't know if it'll work when he "only" goes to Alaska and not will be deployed. Someone else may answer on that one.
Thank you so much . Im just praying that he could make it expedite.

Nope, not an attorney, nor have I worked for U.S. immigration. I simply have an affinity to the visa process in regards to the Philippines.
My only credentials are from here on VJ... http://www.visajourney.com/search/?cx=partner-pub-3407508467788263%3A9725800110&cof=FORID%3A10&ie=UTF-8&q=Thank+hank_&sa=Search&siteurl=www.visajourney.com%2Fforums%2Fforum%2F129-philippines%2F&ref=&ss=1021j144115j9

Your EX husband is Korean, a foreigner, he can do nothing regarding the process in the Philippines.
You do NOT need the recognition of divorce to complete the visa process, you do need to be free to marry at the time of filing the I-129F petition - your divorce decree shows that you are.
thank you so much i feel so relief and good to know that i dont need to file my divorce recognitionin phil to get a visa. anyway can i ask you a question? i just want to make sure that this is not just your opinion. Are you a lawyer or working in US immigration?or in public service in US? or your also done the same process and your sharing all experience issues to help people around here. dont be offended please:) it was great to know that you guys are here to help answering difficult questions like this.

Just like what theyve said..ur good to go for k1.. All u need to to do for ur divorce decree in the phil is just go to nso and ask ur Mc be annotated.. Foreign divorce is recognized in the phil and thats all u need to do.. As for cenomar, since urjust divorced but that doesnt make ur status single, nso will issue a cemar instead wen u request for cenomar. But thats fine, as long as u have ur final divorce decree..
I was divorce by Agreement. means Both my husband and i agreed to get divorce.
Some of my friends are divorce too and filed a divorce recognition in the Philippines and it cost them 150.000 pesos for the Atty. to process the divorce to the Phil Regional Trial Court. They said once its approve by the court you can take it to NSO and get you clear your divorce and get single status. the sad thing is its been one year and they are still waiting for the trial court to call them for personal appearance interview.
ive been searching and looking for some blogs and people with experience filing the divorce recognition in the phil and so far all i see and read is that there been waiting forever like one to two years. thank you for reply:)

Every country has their ways, and the Philippines recognizes that as acceptable... good to know.
Waiting seems to be a way of life within the system in the Philippines...
do you think it will be recognize faster if my ex husband is going to the phil and file for my divorce recognition? i cant wait for a years like that cause my korean visa will expired in one year.I dont want to process papers in Phil cause the system are so slow
But im really happy for your reply about Im good to go and not worry about my issue in my divorce in Phil. Thank you so much.

Foreign divorces are only recognized in the Philippines if the foreign spouse initiated the divorce proceeding

Hi to everyone here ,please help me.
i was married to a korean guy in Philippines and got divorce in Korea. I got my divorce decree authenticated and sealed by the Phil Embassy in Korea. I dont want to file for divorce recognition in the Philippines because it cost lots of money and it takes forever like one to two years and no further assurance when it will be recognize or get done. So my record in NSO will still remain Married. I live in korea now. My boyfriend is a US army and currently in US now wanted to file for K1 visa. We are worried that there will be a conflict on my papers for this situation.I read here that the US embassy accept divorce decree and Cenomar with my ex husband name on it for K1 visa. But im still worried that after passing K1 visa and when i get to U.S is the issue that i am still married in phil is close? like there can still be a possible conflict in the marriage process in the U.S? how about immigration? and applying or processing for residence I.D? or green card. no prosecutionproblem issues in US law,?the fact that i am still married in phil and another marriage in US that i might be deported and cancelled visa ?,? all this issues and question is stressing me a lot and feeling frustrated here! please anyone who have done their K1 and already done the process of marriage and living in US with same issues with me I will really be greatful to hear some response , plus do i need a cfo cert if im flying to us from korea? thanks.
2 years and 6 months married, Is My CR1 Spouse Visa Process Gonna Be Authomatically Change To 1R1???
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
February 12, 2020, I had received an email from the National Visa Centre that the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in MANILA, PHIL approved my request for expedited processing of my immigrant visa application. Then the Philippine LockDown Delayed my papers. My Active Duty Military Husband is now on Orders to be station to South Korea.
we still want to finish our CR1 Final Interview here in the US Embassy Manila.
i wonder if im going to received CR1 visa stamp only? or my papers gonna be Authomatically converted to IR1 visa for me to receive a green card? because ive been married for two years and 6 months now. Or do i need some kind of Form to Change my Status From CR1 to IR1 so i could receive my green card and not just a CR1 visa stamp?
it doesn't make sense for me to go to America now that my husband and i are going to move to South korea, and also if they are gonna release me a CR1 visa stamp only? can i process my green card to the US Embassy in South Korea or inside the US Military Base?
(any idea when is the US Embassy Manila Philippines gonna Operate again? ) With COVID 19 and the restrictions place on everyone around the world, we are at a loss on what to do next. Please walk me through what my family and I need to do.
Any and all information about this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
