Try to get in touch with one of the Indian Social Organization. Every state has one. You may get their address through Google. These organizations are mainly meant for women but they may help you too. And it is you who has to decide where you have to live and work towards your goal. So good luck buddy.

Hi everyone,

We had our AOS interview yesterday at Newark. The gentleman who took the interview was very polite and just verified with me my address DOB and some Qs like are you a terrorist....

He didn't ask for anything else no documents no evidence nothing.

He took my I-94 from the passpport and stamped it as IB 6 pending.

He also explained me that this particular thing(IB 6) has not been checked in my case. So can't make a decision right now and it would take about 4-6 weeks to get a clearance in this case.

I read quite a few AOS interviews posted on VJ and I'm thankful to all of them for that information. But does anyone know what is this IB6 pending means?

Any comments are really appreciated.

I took my daughter, who is also 7 as requested by USCIS and they took the finger prints and photo. Even I had not paid for her biometrics.
