Interview Date in Havana, Cuba: January 26, 2017

The consular officer said  Congratulations! Your visa is approved and returned to us all evidences presented at the interview, like photos, emails, calls record (We front loaded our I-129F and was not returned any evidence from this part). They kept her passport and I-134, then gave us a white approval letter without 221(g) indicating pick up the visa on Feb 02, 2017; however, still AP at this time :(. The interview was very smooth with no complaints!

I called to the Consulate two days ago and they told me that the visa is approved but it is in the Final Adjuditaction Process.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance. :help:

Great, thank you! I do have a translated copy of his birth certificate, and definitely plan to get the rest translated before AOS. Just wanted to confirm if his documents in Spanish like official records, medical exam, police records, etc. need to be translated to English before our interview at the US Embassy in Havana. And if so, if someone could recommend me a certified English translator in Havana. Thanks!

DOCUMENTS IN SPANISH WILL BE OK FOR THE INTERVIEW. Do not spend money unnecessarily if you do not have the visa!!

  3. 34.a I put "We meet in person on Month/day/ year while I was visiting my family in City, Cuba. 10 travels since then. We got engaged on Month/day/year. We are in Love!

I USED SMALL LETTER SIZE 8 ON THIS SECTION. I DID NOT USE AN ATACHAMENT!

I-129F approved in 34 days. All the process will take almost 6months. Interview Jan/2017.

  4. I applied for k1 visa for my girlfriend on aug 04, 2016 BUT we meet in 11 times and spent together 180 days for the last 3 years. Our case arrived to Havana today and we waiting to schedule an interview date and all the process has taken less of two months at this point.

You MUST have a lot of evidence because In Cuba is hard to get a k1 visa approved.

I think that if you have went to Cuba 1-2 times (a short time)within the last 2 years, k1 will be denied.

Sorry, I let you know my opinion.

  5. Hello,

I was born in Cuba and American citizen since 2008. I plan to send the I-129F packet for my cuban girlfriend this month.

I use my cuban passport to entry to Cuba because it is mandatory by the cuban government. I've went 10 TIMES to Cuba within the last 3 years.

I have a lot of pictures with my girlfriend, Entry/Exit stamps on my Cuban Passport, ONLY Entry stamps on my American Passport, photocopies of stubs tickets and payment receipts because they were charter flights from Miami to Cuba, tickets confirmation from Houston to Miami and payment receipts . ALL THIS EVIDENCE APPLY FOR THE 10 TRAVELS.

THE PROBLEM: All my boarding passes are missing. I don't have any receipt because they use cash for all transactions (US credit/debit cards don't work in Cuba).

MY QUESTION: Could I get a RFE requesting boarding passes or receipts? Any advice?

    Thanks in advance.
