My mom's B2 visa expired in June, (I-94 stamp on 11/15) I petitioned for her green card in August, I-485/I-130 concurrent filing (I-797 received). Should I apply extension for her B2 visa? Many thanks

What about driver's license? OK to apply before marriage?

Dear all, I'm applying K1 for my fiancee, P1 received on 8/26. She wants to go to grad school for MBA degree when she gets here. The question is, while she's in the K1 process, can she apply for F1 in case K1 gets delayed? I don't believe that by the time when the grad school makes decicions early next year, we still don't have K1 interview. But, just in the worst case scenario, if K1 is not ready when the school takes her, can she apply and come here by F1 visa? Many thanks!

I sent my I-129F to Texas lock box, will they forward my case to CSC since I'm living in California? I was looking at http://www.visajourney.com/content/times, how is the "USCIS Processing Time Statistics" on the right obtained? Couple of days ago, "processing time CSC: 66", and now it's 105. It can vary this much in such a short time? Thank you very much!

An immigration officer told my friend that, she could have applied N-400 3 years after her PR based on marriage to a US citizen, i.e., she wouldn't have to wait 5 years to get her citizenship even though she got divorced after her PR.
I couldn't believe that it was told by an officer, because the guide clearly says you can apply N-400 3 years after PR if you "are currently married to and living with a U.S. citizen; and Have been married to and living with that same U.S. citizen for the past 3 years; and Your spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the past 3 years."
In my case, I got married in 2003, obtained GC in 2006, then divorced in 2008, am I already eligible to naturalization right now, or I'll have to wait till 2011? The confusing part is that I had been living with a US citizen for >3 years, but only 2 years after getting GC, and not currently living together.
Thanks a lot for your advice!

Dear all, please bear with my ignorance if this has been answered elsewhere here. I'm a LPR (naturalization is 5 years away from me). If my fiancee comes to the US on a business or tourist or student visa, then we get married here and apply for AOS for her, can she stay here lawfully after her visa expires? Thank you so much!
