  1. Afternoon

So i looked at my passport randomly and i noticed on page 15 there was a us custom admitted stamp for when i came back to the us from my trip in august , i was shocked because i didnt notice it , and when i came back to the us from my January trip i never got a admitted stamp , the only difference in these trips was my port of entry in January was Chicago airport and this past trip was the Washington dc airport

on the good side i included my birth cert and all pages of us passport to prove im a us citizen, but the page 15 isnt updated from what i sent, not sure this is even worth a RFE, im just curious , i guess it depends on the airport where you do port of entry , and of course i had my visa stamps from my trips to nigeria in the petition so thats covered

am i just worrying for no reason?

I returned to the States in April 2016 from Nigeria with New York as my port of entry and did not receive a stamp on my passport either and never got an RFE. Besides they can easily pull such information up, so that should not be nothing to worry about.

  2. Hey guys I need a suggestion,

I am USC petitioner and my wife Indian citizen is beneficiary. She is scheduled for an interview on October 14th. I will be moving out of my current apartment at the end of this month (September). My question is should we report the change of address to NVC or US Consulate directly on the interview day?

    Thank you.

    Harry13, do visit: https://www.uscis.gov/file-online/uscis-immigrant-fee

It tells you what I have pasted below about change of address. Please visit the site for more information.

    · USCIS will only mail your Green Card to the U.S. mailing address you provide to the Department of State at the time of your immigrant visa interview or to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer when you are admitted to the United States. If you plan on living at a different U.S. address immediately after you enter the United States, please give that address to the CBP officer to ensure that your card arrives at your new home.

    · If you move after you arrive in the United States and do not receive your card within 120 days, please update your address with USCIS by visitingwww.uscis.gov/addresschange or by contacting the Customer Contact Center. Also, we recommend that you update your address with the U.S. Postal Service by visiting your local U.S. post office or online at www.usps.com/umove.

    · If you have a problem paying the USCIS Immigrant Fee, contact us athttps://my.uscis.gov/account/needhelp.

    · If you do not receive your card within 120 days, you can submit an inquiry online at www.uscis.gov/e-request.

  3. These are the phone #s I gave my husband to use to call The Children's Practice: 01-4611941, 01-8930723, 08022235834. I cant remember which one he was able to use that day as the rest was switched off so try all. I will try to ask him when he wakes up.

  4. Just as Medeay & dwheels 76 mentioned you need no appointment as its a walk in. My husband just inquired requirements from The Children's Practice and was told that the fees is 50,000 Naira and to come with international passport, with photocopies of the biographic page, 6 regular size photographs and they attend to medicals for visa between 8 am and 10 am.

  5. As in signing and scanning back to them right

Signing and scanning back to them is absolutely ok. My husband signed and scanned back to me his G-325A form and we never got any RFEs throughout our process. Just ensure to keep the original copy of all signed documents in the event it is asked at the interview stage. Good luck in all your endeavors.
  6. Tax transcripts! I have everything ready to go to NVC. All my civil documents nicely photocopied with case number written nearly top right. Husband's I-864 and all his financials. But just waiting on a tax transcript from the joint sponsor. She says she ordered it and it should take 10 days to arrive. That was some weeks ago. Is this normal? I don't even know why she is waiting for them to be mailed when they can be obtained online and downloaded. Is there any reason why she would be waiting so long for them to be mailed to her?

I was hoping for a scan date end of August, CC end of September and November interview. That's looking less likely now all because of these tax transcripts. I'm quite frustrated. I know our joint sponsor is helping us out hugely (she is family). But I don't think she appreciates the urgency hubby and I have to finally be together after all this time. This is our second visa journey. We have already been through this to have him move to the UK but he was denied.

It does shows on the IRS website to allow 5 to 10 calendar days for delivery but am not sure why your joint sponsor has to wait weeks for the tax transcript except there are factors delaying it. Mine arrived within 3 business days. Kindly ask if she can go online to register and get it online or do a walk in if there's an IRS office close by.

  7. Yes, its just that my husband used the gross pay in his W2 instead of using the total income in his federal income tax return. I was hoping that they will overlook this one since we got paperworks to back it up. Could you please update me what the operator will tell you once you call them. Thanks.

I was told if it's a minor error as mentioned above then the beneficiary will be asked to bring along to the interview the corrected document.
