As an update, you all should know that we just had to wait it out and apply for the necessary papers but the great thing is that we WERE married in the U.S. within the 90 days on my K1 visa before I had to leave the US but that was a blessing because the US embassy recognized our marriage and therefore gave me priority back in Malaysia to get a spouse type visa to re-enter the US. Hurray..
