  1. NOA2 June 1st and nothing since. I call NVC every other day. I called Uscis yesterday to get to a teir 2 supervisor only to be sent "if you want us to call you back in 63 minutes press 1". I got the call back 4 hours later only to hear recording that "no one is available at this time".

This process is maddening! Fiancé spent 8 years legally in USA on work visa paying taxes, now can't even visit me, I have to go there! We got and answered rfe which was approved now lost in space? Usic teir 1 told me they didn't even have a send out date.

We have a legit 4 year relationship, no diseases or crimes, gainfully employed. I swear I will write my representative if I don't get SOME type of definite information on my case when I call on July 5th. ?

  2. M&S I took your advice and also included a love letter (2 single spaced typed pages with timeline) with a ton of TN stamps (his), letter from employer (his), 12 photos of us together throughout the two year period, proof of travel from airline indicating "Flown" (mine), my passport stamps, his boarding passes, hotel receipts from hotel as well as cc statements, bank statements of $ spent in his country.

It's a convoluted story to follow, but my timeline is supported by evidence.

I really hope all is ok and approved now.

    Thank you so much.

  3. This is helpful, thank you.

So essentially I need to show proof of in person, same town relationship from February 2013 through Feb 2015 (even though we began dating September 2012-- I don't include this? because I did include on the statement on I129f) June 2015 through November 2015 was by skype and daily emails. His visit here December 2015, we traveled together for my visit there December 2015 and April 2016.

Your suggestions really help because there isn't much on this type of situation in the guides.

We both realize now that what he should have done during the work visa and that usa employement for 8 years was to do the process of citizenship.

I hope this won't be a problem in the k1 visa though no rules broken, just not the best way to have done it. Maria&Seve it is a similar situation with the working abroad Au Pair and having met there that way.

  4. The letter says

written statement that we met, this all has to be preceding the two years before the petition was filed

copies of airline tickets and stubs (don't have these)

copies of passport pages with stamps (have one the other was a land crossing)

    military orders (n/a)

evidence of meeting in last 2 years (already sent, will resend more I suppose)

photos of you together is secondary evidence (again I already did this but will do it again)

IT doesn't seem very convincing evidence. Other than the work visa copies do I just write out a narrative?

  5. We met in a USA town, he was living there 8 years, on an employer sponsored visa renewed every 2-3 years. So I have trips where I went to Canada with him to meet family and friends. One flight was to Vermont and we drove over border so no stamp. What do I do? The list of documents on this rfe is good for people in different countries, my situation is different. And the generic list is all stuff I have already sent I with that f129. He quit USA job after 8 years went on a trip then couldn't get back into USA! Border citing that he couldn't prove ties to Canada.

In original application I gave everything they asked for, plus photos with dates preprinted on them and my passport stamp to Canada first visit. But we went together because he was living in same town I was at the time. Now he isn't.

I don't know what to do to prove we dated for 3+ years. But it's true, all 100% truth. Meanwhile if I had a hospital or other emergency he can't even get to me. No criminal histories, etc. I triple checked that f129 I really don't get why this happened and mow not sure how to include what they want or what more I can do to prove we are in love engaged and getting married. I've contacted airlines to get proof of my flights, tried to get my border crossing history into Canada and got to a dead end due to being right before June 2013. There aren't more trips because he lived in my town in USA on work visa.

Am I theory one whose had a story like this one? What do I do to prove our local dating relationship when he lived here?

    Suggestions?

Thank you for anything you can add, I'm stressed out about this.

  6. "Your attorney may be incorrect, here at VJ the average seems to be about 2 months but I bet your attorney told you three so that you don't start calling him off the hook every day starting on day 59. Given your reaction here, I'd say he probably made a wise move."

Are immigration lawyers paid flat fee or hourly like other lawyers?

If the latter they'd want to bill for as much time as possible.

  7. Fiance and I met in another usa town and dated/were together 3 years, he was there on profession work/employer sponsored visa that had to be renewed every 3 years, lived in that town for a total of 8 years, but never began a green card process. (paid taxes though:) We both left that town, he went on a trip around the world and I moved to new usa town. After trip, he came here to see me and we would decide if we wanted to continue the relationship, we'd been in touch by

Skype every 3 days during trip, so quite sure it was a yes.. We went to Canada together for the holiday to be with his family who I already met because I'd been there before as his gf. I flew back first. Few days later he was due to come here and got stopped at border, unable to prove ties to Canada and the whole stern interview, fingerprint and withdrawal of application happened. Border said don't come back without a job offer in hand. Ok it's a little tough to get a job offer here if you can't list a usa address. We are definitely in love and want to be together so decided to get married, he proposed.Had I not moved and he still at old job in there we met we would likely be married anyway. I filed for the K-1. So far I've received NOA1 in normal time.

Is this going to interfere with the fiance visa? Neither of us have any criminal history or health problems, we're unmarried/free to marry, middle age professionals, have tons of solid proof of a romantic relationship, etc.

He can't/won't be trying to cross until we're approved, so meanwhile I have to go to Canada; it's far. Do I say I am there to visit my fiance (help or hurt K1?) or just there to visit? I'll have my return flight obviously.
