Please help, me and my fiance(e) are both lost and confused! We were told that our K1 application was transferred to Vermont Service Center last May 19, 2016 and that will be hearing from them on June 19, 2016, and its already Nov. and we havent heard from them. By the way, my fiance(e) just got back to the U.S. about 6 days ago after a 23 days visits here in the Philippines. What do we do to find out what is happening to our K1 Visa application. Any infornation will help, thank you very much..

Sadly we have'nt get anything, except another noticed that they received the copy of the noticed of our 797C form (the noticed that says our papers was transferred to Vermont Service Center)

If a person asked you too much money for her own paperworks its a redflag. I am sorry to tell you that. I am a Filipina myself. But from my point of view, I would think of your safety first before myself in my own country and I will tell you to meet somewhere else in my country than in my province of Mindanao cause I know how dangerous it is. And beside asking money from you is not a good sign. Try to know her more before sending money. Just a friendly advise know her more. I am sorry if I offended you, just be careful.

We are in the same boat. We got our notice last May 27, 2016 and said that ours was transferred to Vermont Service Center and we have to wait until the 19th of June. Then we can call the NCSC. And so we contacted them through email, just last week and they said that they have'nt got our packaged. Then, they asked for the copy of 797-C form. So we mailed it last Friday and have'nt heard from them and hopefully we can hear from them within this week. We are just wondering what is happening? And seems that a whole a lot of people are also like us wondering. Well, hope we all hear from our respective centers... Good luck to all of us. Have a good day..

Hi, like you we didnt know what to do when my fiance started gathering the documents. Anyway, we did include my cenomar and birth certificate along with my passport photocopy cause we really dont know what do then. As what other says it is not needed until the interview. I only knew about this after I joined the VJ.
