No need, my fiance didnt attend my interview, it went well, quick and easy. Interview is the easiest part of the K1 Journey.

If and when you have decided to go visit him, keep your plane ticket, Boarding passes, itinerary, hotel receipt, take tons and tons of picture, especially together w/ his family. you need to demonstrate that your relationship is real. so keep all your chat logs, emails any evidence that you can provide to show USCIS.

POE was super easy. We were in visitor line for about 3 min then a nice lady took us out of line and over to the "tripod" area. There were 2 in line in front of us. After about 15 min we were called up and asked a few questions and then he asked us to take a seat while he finished the papers that took about 5-10 min and then he gave us our passports and said welcome to America.

The trip was good but very had for me, very sad about leaving Denmark

Texas: About my wedding dress they were SO nice! .... The first plane KLM took it out in the cockpit so it got hang up there and with delta I didn't even get a chance to ask them as soon as they saw me a lady took her hand out to take it and she said we'll hang it up in here fore you in here so nothing happen to it and you'll get it when we land.

K1 visa interview successful and passed! (Also freaked out about nothing!). It was super easy and they loved that my paperwork was in order and tabbed to find it easy.

Had the interview today. And after a clumsy conversation (nervous and I'm feeling under the weather) I was approved!

My interview is in Montreal tomorrow (along with someone else's from VisaJourney! How cool is that?)! I'm super nervous not about the interview itself.. but haha, if I have the papers organised the right way. There's so many that it FEELS messy.

hi, interview should be 1 week after the medical? what will happen if i schedule it like 3 weeks after medical? thanks

Thats no problem if u opt to schedule interview 3 weeks after Medical, i just dont know the validity of medical exam if its 3 or 6 months.

I would suggest to Call NVC 3 weeks after approval, they will give you your MNL case # and your ID#. Once you obtain those information, you may book an appointment at St. Lukes schedule ur interview at USEM 1 week after Medical. And of course pay the Visa at BpI

Our interview is tomorrow! My fiance is in London now... hopefully by the time I wake up we will be done!

Hey everyone! We've been asked to give more conversations between myself and my fiancé. We provided excerpts from our chats since we've known each other (4years) and anything important we always talk about via video chatting. I've asked skype if there's a way to get our call log and they said no because we use the free service. What else can we provide?

you can Provide emails between you and your Fiance if there's any. if you send her cards ( Birthday, Anniversary or any other special occasion) or even snail mail.

Anyone here had their Medical Exam in Manila, Philippines at St. Lukes? Do they need the NVC letter or just the interview appointment confirmation? TY

After 109 days of waiting (with an RFE), our status online changed to Case Approved! Our NOA2 is on the way. I am in shock because we have just replied and it only took 5 days to get approved from our RFE. GOD IS SO GOOD, what a beautiful birthday gift (It really is what I asked for in my prayers). I am at work and I feel like crying!

I know a fair amount of you have your NVC numbers now. When do you recommend starting to call? Is that how you find out the nvc received date? any tips?

I would wait at least 3 weeks from NOA2

After 122 days and an RFE we got our NO2 this morning! words can't even express the happiness felt right now. This forum has been such a God send the last few months of what seemed like endless waiting. Can't wait to get started on the next step!

I am SOOOO UPSET with my lawyer. We have received our RFE and it's missing a BIRTH CERTIFICATE & PASSPORT!!! How can they miss a vital part?

Sulking in disappointment. I can't help but write him a letter of dissatisfaction. I hope he won't mess up our case now. I did word it very nicely. I also said that I'd like to restore my faith in his company.

If only I can get a refund. I'm gonna be researching everything myself and double checking his work from now on!!!! GRRRR

What I have noticed is that people who hired lawyers to process their K1 took way longer to get approved then the one who did it themselves, do you think USCIS is against or does not like people who uses Lawyer?

T'was sooo smooth, was there at 6:00am, my scheduled interview appointment was 6:45am, i was out by 9:30am,

Questions asked as follows:

1. Who is your petitioner?

2. What is your relationship to the petitioner?

3. How did you meet?

4. What site did you meet?

Ans. Its not a site, its a chat program called mIRC

5. How many times did you meet?

After 4 minutes of browsing the 129f file and computer, then suddenly he said congratulations!

I then asked am i approved? He said YES! You may now proceed to step 5

I was noa not asked for anything, not even affidavit of support.

Some CO are friendly, some are not.
