Please under what rule? 3yrs or 5yrs? And is it marriage based?
3 year rule. We filed 2 weeks prior to the 5 year anniversary of her arriving here. Marriage based…yes.

My wife filed her N-400 August 22nd. Biometrics was completed September 15. On October 3rd she received notification that her appointment for interview has been scheduled for November 7th. How long after the interview will the oath ceremony be scheduled?

I am a US citizen planning on traveling to Philippines in June with my stepdaughter (11 year old permanent resident). My wife (permanent resident) will be going to Philippines one month earlier with our 2 other children. Has anybody traveled to the Philippines with their permanent resident stepchild (without your wife being with you)? Wondering what documents I need to bring with me. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Hi,
they sent everything back and denied it based on the over payment, I sent everything back to them with a new check and within a week I got notice of acceptance and two weeks after that we got our biometric appointment. Now just waiting .
Thanks!

Hi All,
I filed at the end of April. Just now realizing that i overpaid, will my packet get denied and returned for an overpayment on a check? Also still haven't gotten anything it's been two weeks since packet was delivered.
Did they end up refunding the amount that you overpaid or did you have to send in a new check? Did it delay the setting up of your biometric date?

First time posting. Thanks for all the informative posts. My wife and I are ready to file (DCF...CR1) at USEM next week. My wife is the beneficiary and I am the US citizen. My wife received her NBI Clearance in April 2016. Since it has been less than 1 year, is that sufficient or do we need to get a more up to date NBI Clearance? Second question: as the petitioner, having been here more than 6 months, is it necessary for me to get an NBI Clearance. Thanks for your help. Going to NBI today if necessary.
