I had my case approved yesterday, no interview date yet, am I looking at June for possible interview date ?
-
After a minor setback & +34 days (on top of 42 initial days) our application was approved yesterday. Did not recieve email but did verify it by calling NVC today. But no interview date as of yet. Does anyone know how long it takes to get an interview (in Skopje)

I call them twice a week. I dont care what they say. They get to go home each night to their spouses, while we are apart from ours for months and months. As soon as they start reading me their standard response I hang up. All I want to hear at this point is "yes sir its been approved and we scheduled your appointment for..". Till then I'll keep bugging.

First time I sent docs to NVC it took them 42 days. I had to resubmit some more docs. As of today its been 30 days , just called them and nothing yet. So yea, 45 days is likely each time you send and re send something to NVC. Damn shame.

USPS w/signature confirmation. I paid $80 first time I sent doc's to NVC, they got them Monday morning (before 10:30am) yet they opened mail next day and started my date from then. Just wasted money. It will take close to 45 days regardless. Save your money.
Hello from fellow Bosnian ??

I know it may be a little late, but I hope you told your translator to include the following verbiage. I personally know of people that got check listed for not including this even though it was notarized. This is directly from the USCIS website, it applies at the NVC stage too:
https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/general-tips-assembling-applications-mailing
Please submit certified translations for all foreign language documents. The translator must certify that s/he is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate.
The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:
Certification by Translator
I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and [enter appropriate language] languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled [enter title of document].
Signature
Typed Name
Address
Date
No worries, translator is my immigration lawyer, personal friend. It's done the proper way. Thanks for looking out ??

yea right so what's happening with your case did u got new scan date or U still didn't submit the missing document ?
Just had them translated, I will mail them out this Thursday so I wont know scan date for another 10-14 days. Just mad at my self for not looking carefully, could have had interview date by now instead I'm looking at another 45+ days.

yea I was thinking to do that my wife should get them in a few days and yea I didn't see that too but Macedonian authorities should tell that to people since in the application u state that u need it for USA visa but I guess u know nothing works good in Macedonia as always ... For such stupid thing our cases just get delayed
As you know, nobody goes the extra mile in MKE unless you are holding 100 euros in your hand. Decent thing would be to tell people but no, they dont bother.

Check with the Embassy in Skopje and find out what their requirements are in regard to document translations.
Thanks for reply, I had them translated just in case.

oh I'm from Macedonia too and I did same mistake since I didn't knew they give 2 separate documents my scan date is 03.03 so I'll be expecting a checklist, how did u find out that u got checklist did u called or they emailed u ?
And you dont need checklist, I made copies of checklist so I had extra, they told me checklist is not that important, but cover sheet is a must. Id send that other paper as soon as possible, hopefully it does not prolonge your process. It was my mistake not looking carefully on their web site which clearly states you need 2 documents. I just bought my self extra 60 days :|

I called them to check up the application as it was already 40 days over there. Im getting them translated and sending out this week so they will get it next week. So I'm guessing it will take entire April and then some before I hear anything again. Both papers almost look identical too, just ridicilous.

are u from Macedonia ?
No, my wife is.

Scan date was Feb 2. Undortunetly I was not aware of 2 certificates from court, only sent them 1. Took 42 days, on 43rd day they told me I need to resubmit 2 copies. Getting ready to send those next week. Back to drawing board again (30-45 days) :\

My wife is in Macedonia, do I need to translate documents from Macedonian to English ? I have called NVC and they told me that I dont need to because documents are in official language where visa is being applied at. Does anyone have experiance with this? Would it be vise to translate them anyways?
