Hello there, here is my situation.
In October 2008 receive Notice of Action for receipt of I-751 application. Husband went and got his biometric fingerprints etc. However, the check bounced. We paid them back through collections. Filed another application to Director asking for waiver of fees (included all evidence) and then called CA service center and they said his case is still pending based on the first application in 2008. (They did not receive the fee waiver affidavit etc, that I send Jan. 22,2010) They told us to go into our Local Immigration office. (I made an appointment via INFOPASS)
Question
1. Are they going to deport my husband. He is terrified he will be deported if we go into the Local Immigration Office.
2. Is there anything else that I can do?
Please help us.
Thanks

Ok. I filed I-751 last year for my husband, he went and got fingerprinted etc Then our CHECK bounced. I still do not have the money to file for his case. Is it too late? Is there a waiver? Would they let me still file a I-751 for him. The bill is now in collections. Please is there is anyone who can guide me in getting his status back.
Thanks

2 years meaning: I am U.S. Citizen who married someone who is not. We did DCF he is in USA and i just looked at his passport and realized that it is going to expire in 2 weeks. So he had conditional residence for two years and now we are would like to lift it to become permanenet.

I just relized that my husbands 2 years CR1 is going to expire in two weeks. Does that mean he can't get his Permanant Green Card. Should I still apply the usual way, even though it is late. Please help!? Any suggestions?

Thank you to everyone here at VJ for all your help. I got CR-1 for my husband in 1 day. (Fiji Embassy)
Now my question is: Can I book him a 1 way ticket instead of purchasing a return ticket?
Thanks

I have already filed my I-30 with CSC etc, got my NOA1. However, I got bored one day and just called the Consulate General in Fiji asking them if I can file DCF (I-30) with them and they said I could. Even though I am living here in the USA.
My husband and I were married in Fiji and he is a resident of Fiji. Does anyone know if I can do this? Even though I already filed here in the USA.

thankyou so much!
He has been here for 3 years. When we called CA service center, they said his case is still pending (the bounced check etc doesn't show up in their system.). His appointment is Monday 15th of March. Will keep you updated! Hopefully, it will go well. My mother is willing to pay for citizenship application fee, so that will certainly be an option after the 15th (appointment).
