  1. Y'all I'm confused. It's 91 days today since biometric was done. Called USCIS, they said everything is fine with my biometric, as I expected anyway, and that my case has been moved to my local office in Memphis TN. Still no update on interviews yet except the rusty "we received your fingerprint fee on..." status ever since. What's troubling is, I filed 15 days later apart from a close friend in the same state, but my friend got his green card two weeks ago. Please, could anyone suggest what could be issue here? I'm filing from TN. I'm really frantic and don't know what's going on. It's 122 days altogether today since I filed. Any hint from a TN filer on here?

  2. Thats amazing!!!! I'm in the process of expediting too and im on my 54th day. Just got an email from USCIS asking me to fax my job offer letter. Did you get that too?

I put in my expedite request on 04/14/2016. Got a request for an additional information from USCIS officer on 04/15/2016. My expedite was based on job offer so I faxed in my job offer letter same day. 04/20/2016, I called spoke to a level 1 officer and told them about my expedite request based on start date of May 9, 2016; The level 1 officer moved me to a level 2 officer. Spoke to level 2 office, says no update yet, but said he would file a request for information on my expedition status. Check status this morning, nothing changed. And hours later, at about 2 PM CT, text messages hit my phone, saying EAD and Advanced parole both approved and card being produce; status updated online too. That's how it happened. Good luck on your expedite. Lessons learned: Sometimes, if you don't move quickly, they won't move on your case as quickly.

    Wow, congrats!!

    Thanks, @cattleya777.

  3. Hi there,
I have just made a concurrent filing of I-130 and I-485 from Seattle,WA. I was here on my F1 visa married to the love of my life, she happens to be a citizen by birth and have applied for my own GC.
I have attached G1145 forms for each of the files I prepared in order to receive an electronic confirmation about every application.
Here is my timeline so as to give people an idea of how is the processing timeline in its latest bearings. By the grace of god everything will go good,
25th March'2016- Sent out the application via UPS to Chicago.
    29th March'2016- Package received.
    Will edit soon! :)

Goodluck, brother. I am here on F1 too and this is my final semester. You'll be fine, I promise. One G-1145 would have been fine for all the applications, rather than one for each form you filed. Anyway, you'll be fine; if you didn't have any glitch in the applications filed. Goodluck once again.

  4. Congrats! that was quick..we're still waiting for my hubby's biometric notice, he got his NOA hard copies on the 21st. You got yours less than a week!

Thank you! I wonder too. It's been quite fast since I began, and it's quite surprising for me. I guess I'm lucky.

I can imagine the wait, and it's not easy. I know your hubby will be hearing back very, very soon, and I'm more than confident things will work well in his favor.

  5. I initially filed on February 24, 2016, but USCIS returned my package more than 2 weeks later because of incorrect filing fee for I-130. I re-filed again today. So far, my package is on its way to Chicago Lockbox. Hopefully, it's going to be accepted this after all corrections.

Day 0: Filed I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, and support documents including affidavits of support. Wish me luck!

  6. Hi all, Just ran into this post and thought I would post my timeline as well.

I'm transitioning from F-1 student visa to AoS.

Got married to my US Citzen Wife 03/12/2015

Sent concurrent filing package (I-130, I-485, and I-765 with correct fees and supporting documents) to Chicago Lockbox 02/22/2016

    Application Delivered 02/24/2016

Still waiting for I-797 (notice of receipt) and money orders and checks not cashed since then. Anybody else in the same situation? The wait is agonizing, and I plan to expedite my work permit because I had just had a job offer. Any suggestions?
