Thank you! But do you know how long before they issue the visa or who I can call that is helpful ? It's going on a month and no visa yet

Can someone please assist? My fiancé and I had our interview on July 6, 2016. Our case was approved but my fiancé forgot his medical exams and had to send it to the embassy the next day which he did. When we called the consulate they told us to check ceac.state.gov for the status of our case which says administrative processing. It said ready 3 days ago and then went back to administrative processing yesterday. Can someone please help and let me know how long it takes to receive the visa. I leave tomorrow bc I have to leave bc of cancer treatment and he's bummed he can't come w me right now. I was told if he had his medical exams papers that day he would've been had it. When I call they are not very helpful. Can he go to the embassy? Please help

I know this post is old but I'm currently in the process of doing all this for my fiancé. Do I set up all the appointments online or does the embassy do it? I feel like after it left the NVC I've had no more updates and the automated systems are not useful. Does the VAC appointment need to be scheduled online after payment receipt number is entered online? Do I make the interview appointment or is something sent to me? Sorry but I'm really lost with this process. Please help

My fiancé has a daughter that we put down as part of the petition. Does anyone know what documentation we need to provide in order for her to be able to come with us? Does the mom have to sign off or provide us with something giving permission that she agrees? Please help

Thank you....I guess I just had my hopes on receiving an answer soon but I'll adjust my brain to 5 months. I thought it was a bad sign.

So I've been following my cases status and according to the timeline it claims I should get my NOA2 by April 15, which is tomorrow. I called USCIS and they informed me the process takes up to 5 months. I'm a bit worried because I'm following other similar timelines and it seemed like they have received their NOA2. Does this mean something negative? How accurate are the supposed dates they give on visa journey? please help

Can anyone who has gone through the interview process in Dominican Republic let me know what to expect? I don't have a interview date as yet and I'm pretty early on with the process but I'm nervous and want to be prepared. Any pointers?
