went to the interview. took 20 mins. was told that theyll do some more security check and let us know. case status changed same day to new card is being produced. 

got an update today saying that interview was scheduled. 

Got another update. 
 

case was transferred to another office. A new office has jurisdiction.

did it once. No problem during the flights or checking in.

When you file to renew your greencard (very different from ROC) you receive a sticker on the back of your greencard at the biometrics appointment.

 

Only those who don't have any proof of their status (meaning those without an extension letter or sticker) get an I-551 stamp in their passport at an info pass appointment.

I have my biometrics appt. next friday. Is that when I will be getting a temporary stamp on my green card or do i have to create another appoit. for that?

well the other day, I have received an email from Ankara Embassy and now it says my interview is on 26th of September (!?). I checked CSC website. Gave them call and they all say it looks like your interview in on 20th.

Embassy's website doesn't work and there are no other ways than filling up a form to ask them whats going on.

The thing is now that its holiday here between 12nd and 16th. They do not work. There are no one to talk or ask whats going on. I am quite annoyed. Because I already booked an hotel and flights. also take days off from work.

What should i do now? CSC website and call center says its 20th but you should contact to embassy about it.

Go to interview on 20th or dont?

Theyre (soon) going to send your file to embassy. it takes 1-4 days.

What docs should my fiancee translate before she comes here? I tried to find something related before I start a new topic, but everything seems to be about the process before getting visa.

She went to university - will she need to translate her diploma?

She worked in two banks - does she need anything from them to be translated?

What about medical documents? Anything else?

That was that. Now. I will be coming with her - POE JFK - so, since she doesn't speak English will be I allowed to be with her when officer takes care of her docs (visa and packet from embassy)?

I dont think you will be allowed to be with her. They might find translator or someone who could help. And I don't think there will be lots of questioning during POE.

I have a freind who got an RFE and it says "Circumstances of Meeting- You indicated that you met the benefeciary through a dating website online. However, you did not provide any specific details about this website. Submit information regarding this website and the circumstances under which you and beneficiary met to establish the relationship. (International Marriage Broker)

would it be ok to send now the terms and conditions or we have to wait the NOA2?
