same situation here. I just wrote a letter stating why I didnt file tax.
Anyways, may I ask what did you guys put on the I-864 part 6 if you marked "UNEMPLOYED" should I just leave the date blank? PDF wont allow me type "never worked"

I, xxxxxxx, am the wife and petitioning sponsor of xxxxxx. I was not required to file an income tax return with the Internal Revenue Service for the years 2015, 2014 and 2013 because I was unemployed. At that time, I was attending College of Nursing full-time during the 2011-2015 Academic year at xxxxxxx. My parents xxxxxx and xxxxxx, supported me during that time period and I was listed as dependent under my parents for years 2015, 2014 and 2013.
