Can I ask a question related to sending all documents to NVC?

I am living in Vietnam. My case number starts with HCM.

Can I send email to NVC all of my documents or I have to mail all documents to NVC?

Friends, My case was approved today after a 5 months and 10 days. My PD is Sept 21,2015.

For friends who are submitted around this time and early in October, keep checking online your status.

USCIS will update online first.

Be patient to wait and call them if your case around 5 months so that they dont forget you!

PD 09/29.. Called the USCIS no with the '87716' trick.. only to be told that my application is well within processing time and it can take upto 60 days.. Which means almost 7 months to get an approval. What a joke!?!

They say the same to everyone. In my case they said that it will takes around 6-8 months.

My PD is Sept 21

Rather than ranting twice, I'm just cutting and pasting what I posted in the July filers thread.

Still absolutely nothing new on my case.

spoke to tier 2 too many times to count at this point.

Yesterday they said "we show that we received your RFE documents and your case is in process but we can't give you a time when it will be completed."

seriously, wth does that even mean? It means "we have all your stuff but we don't go in any kind of order so yours is going to sit on someone's desk until they dig it out. You and your kids and husband will just have to sit and suffer."

Seriously, my kids are not doing so well. They both now are being withdrawn and sad. Our daughter is often in tears because she wants her Daddy. All I can say to her is "someday honey, someday..."

On the up side, congratulations to all of you who have been approved. Way to go! Treasure your time with your families!

Why always call again in the end of this month. I have to hear it 2 times. First itme, in the end of Feb and then in the end of March.

I explained that the case was transferred to potomac for faster processing, but people who's petitions stayed at california got approved within 2 months... she just said wait another 30 days and if i don't receive any updates by then, open a service request. fml.

Today my husband called the USCIS and he got this information. It means that my case is not approved yet right? How long do you have to wait?

"I contacted USCIS and they told me the normal time is between 6-8 months, sometimes a year. They said they are processing cases in september from 23rd, and that I might get mail within 30 days. And if not, to call back later after 30 days

Can I ask a question related to I130. We submitted I130 in 21st Sept 2015. It is more than 5 months but no result right now. What should we do? We called them on 15thFeb and was told to keep waiting.

When we submit I130, do we need to submit the financial statement? We did not submit this document and do not submit any documents to prove that my husband is working in a company right now. Is it affect my case processing?
