I am SRC filer. July 2019. No biometrics also. Almost 9 months. Have no idea why. Called them of course, sent requests, they say it’s ok and if I will need biometrics, I will receive an appointment.
Anyone knows, is there any cases been approved without the biometrics? When uscis used the previous ones? I am CR6. Had interview and bio in US in 2017....

Still no word on biometrics appointment although all in person offices are closed still.  My wife's receipt mentioned they will contact us " if" biometric appointment is needed.  As you, my wife had interview and bio in 2017.  I believe the bio is only good or a year, so it should be required.  Has anyone been approve without a bio?  Can they re-use a bio from a few years ago?  We called were 'reassured' by the agent that nothing is wrong, we didn't miss the appointment in the mail and that it was not yet sent out.  It is almost a year and no biometrics appointment.  WAC receipt number.

  2. Question on Biometrics-

my wife filed I751 in early May 2019 and we received the NOA promptly a few weeks later extending her green card for 18 months.  We are concerned that we still haven't received a Biometrics appointment letter now 9 months later.  Called the service center and were told the appointment notice was not yet sent out and should continue to wait for the notice in the mail. Should we be concerned?  Looking at May 2019 timelines, most filers through the California service center have received their biometrics appointment letter months ago.

  3. Thanks for the reply! Sorry I wasn't clear. She is now my wife. We submitted the I 485 package and associated forms per the checklist on this site. I'm just waiting for the receipt that they received the application - I believe this is in the form of an I-797. I have not received this nor have they cashed the check. I just found another thread from 2 years ago with the same concern. It seems at least back then that the wait could be up to 30 days. I'm just worried that that is cutting it close to the 12-12 date stamped on her K-1 visa.

  4. Hi All

My fiancee arrived on Wednesday and we were married the next day! Now looking to the AOS but my fiancee handed the envelope containing her I693 and medical records to the agent at SFO POE and we don't have copies. Does the agent send the health package to USCIS? Will we have to get her another medical exam and fill out a new I693 as part of the AOS application package?

    Thanks!
