We had our interview in the chatsworth, Ca office  on July 26. We were told we would get a response in a week or two. My husband has called to find out what going on. But there are no updates. Is anyone else having the same issue?

The joint sponsor had sponsored my husband for the k-1 visa and had agreed to sponsor him for the AOS. When we told him that they were asking for more evidence he said he couldn’t help us. He blocked my husband and didn’t explain any further. My husband has been able to find someone else to be the joint sponsor and so we want to file again. Which I hope won’t be a problem. 

The had requested more information about our finances from myself and the joint sponsor I gave my information but the joint sponsor refused to help us anymore. We have someone else that is willing to be the joint sponsor now so we want to refile 

My husband was denied his adjustment of status. We are going to reapply. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this and if they have any advice. 

So I just went to file my taxes. My husband has been here since March. We filed for adjustment of status in June but he still doesn’t have a social. So we need to get a itin number to be able to file jointly. It take up to 7 weeks to get one. Just wanted to put that out there because I had no idea.

My husband have been here since March of late year on a k-1 visa we were married in April of that year and the k-1 visa expires on September and we are still wait for are AOS to be approved. We filed in June last year. I’m just not sure if this counts as an overstay. 

We submit his income taxes for two years because that is all he had and his proof of citizenship.

I made more than the proverty guidline showed yet they wanted to see more proof so I sent them everything they asked for. After that they issued the EAD/AP.

Yeah. I know I would never give up. Its just very stressful and I’m also 34 weeks pregnant right now. A denial from immigration scares me to death. I love my husband so much. 

The sponsor makes 5000 more than required. What makes this harder is that we have not been able to get a hold of the sponsor since we got the letter. 

My husband filed his adjustment of status back in June. I did a change of address at the end of July online. It turn out immigration was mailing request for more evidence to our old mailing address and are old mail address which was a PO BOX that I was still pay for was sending the mail back. We were call the call center all the time. They would only tell us to wait and not give us any more information. We just got our letter requesting more information on the 9th. We called to find out how much time we have to repay they said we must reply by the 27th. They want to see the sponsors assets or have us get another joint sponsor. Which I don’t get because my husband’s sponsor makes enough. If the sponsor didn’t make enough he would have been give a k-1 in the first place right. 

Yes I'm counting them, that why it doesn't make sense

Yes. The only thing I can thing of is if they don't cont child support.
