Hi guys, my husband and my son came to Boston on 6/22/2016. My son's green card was received on 9/7/2016/ But still no any update for my husband's. Guys, what should we do now? How can we contact? Thank you.
-
You can call them and ask. They answer pretty fast. Or simply resend what they asked and also give a copy of it to the applicant to bring to the interview.
Just make sure you are sending the right document.
If I was you, I would call them.
Hey, my friend got the e-mail from NVC today that the document was completed. And waiting for the interview schedule.

It is so confusing. On one page they say to submit it to them. but on the second page it says to give it to your relatives to bring to the interview. They ask for proof of citizenship or legal status.
Yes, so we don't know what should do is right. The legal status document was provided before. So do you guys know what can we do? Thank you.

Hi everyone, my friend received the check list from NVC attached. But we are not sure what documents NVC required. Do we need to send the documents to NVC or just bring it to the visa interview? Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received all the requested documentation for this immigrant visa case. The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicant’s visa application.
NVC schedules appointments one month in advance. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate General tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments in a first-in, first-out manner. Most appointments are set within 60 days of NVC receipt of all requested documentation. However, we cannot predict when an interview appointment will be available.
When we are able to schedule an appointment, we will notify the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable). The applicant can prepare now by reading about the embassy’s interview requirements online at http://nvc.state.gov/interview. Thank you for your patience.
The embassy may require additional documents at the interview. In particular, if the following three items are all true, the applicant must bring a new police certificate to the visa interview:
· He or she is more than 16 years old;
· The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
· He or she still lives in the country that issued the certificate.
The applicant should not make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the embassy has issued a visa.
Sincerely,
-

Hi Kiko,
Your income of $27000 should be fine. According to the 2015 Povertry Guideline $25112 is the minumum for 3 persons.
And it doesn't matter how much did you earn in 2014 - only the last year matters.
Sorry, can't tell anything about confirmation time... We haven't sent the package yet.
Thank you for your information.

Hi Everyone,
My PD is Sep. 12,2014. My financial documents and civil documents were sent on Feb. 16th. So how long will get the confirmation letter from NVC? Thank you.
By the way, I only have two years taxes return. Since i go the green card in 2014. So i have only two years. 2014 is less than $2000, and 2015 is more than $27000. I sponsored my husband and my son. Is that OK?
Thank you.

Hi Everyone,
My friend submitted the I-130 form for her brother's family. After 1 month, she got the I-797C form. But the priority date is blank. Is it normal? Is anyone as same as her? Thank you.
