Hello!
We are currently waiting on our NOA1 in the AOS process. We have submitted all the corresponding documents along with my husband's EAD request, etc.
The issue is I recently changed my last name to his, but we filed all the AOS documents with my maiden name. I'd like to make sure they know my last name has changed to prevent any confusion--I know this involves sending proof to them (copy of marriage cert, new social security card/driver's license, etc.), but I'm having trouble finding what address I need to send stuff to/what form I need to fill out/what to do in general.
Does anyone else have experience with this? It doesn't SEEM like submitting some updated information would be too difficult, but I can't seem to find info on how to do it.
Thanks!

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to make sure I am understanding the fiancé visa flowchart correctly. My fiancé submitted the DS160 online yesterday and is mailing in the hard copy today. He also has his first medical appointment today.
Are we in the clear to pay the visa fee and apply for an interview date? I just didn’t know if you needed to wait a certain amount of time after doing the DS160 or going to the medical appointment before you can ask for an interview date. As in, do they need the medical forms from the doctor or the hard copy of the DS160 in hand before you can ask for an interview? The flowchart makes it seem like you can get an interview date before you have your medical checkup. We’d like to pay the fee and apply for an interview date this weekend, but I just wanted to make sure we weren’t jumping the gun. If it matters, he’ll be going to the U.S. Embassy in Brussels.
Thanks so much!!

Hello all, and thanks for the help preemptively!
My fiance is in Belgium, and due to pretty extreme family circumstances, we were unable to move forward with the K-1 visa. Our package had been sent to the U.S. Embassy so we were close to him being able to come here, but in taking care of my family and life situation, the time slipped away from us. It's been over a year. We reached out to the U.S. Embassy in Brussels and they responded with:
"Could you provide us with a comprehensive written statement that states the reasons that prevented you fro moving forward with the case at the time?"
My family was falling apart and I had terminally ill members to take care of. They are still alive, but things are much, much calmer and more stable now (family members are settled, I got a great new job with more money), and we want to move forward with the process.
Does anyone have any advice on how to phrase all of this to the Embassy, or anything else to include? If we could re-open our case from before that would obviously be heaven on earth and a massive relief as opposed to re-filing so I thought I'd ask. Thanks again!

Hey all!
I browsed the forums and couldn't find an exact answer for what my situation is.
My address here in the United States has changed. I have received my NOA2 but have not submitted my Affadavit of Support yet. What do I need to do and who do I need to notify? Some people in the forums said they just sent an e-mail. Others did snail mail. I saw on the USCIS website there is a simple change of address page to go to and fill out. Do I need to contact the NVC separately? Just a bit confused, obviously. What is best?
Thanks in advance!!

This is the 2016 poverty guidelines, so you're still above the minimum.
Thank you so much!! I just got the letter from the NVC today about them receiving my petition and sending it on to the embassy, so now that we are so close I of course started to panic and question everything I had previously read. Thank you very much for your help!!

Hey all,
I apologize in advance since this may be a redundant question, but I couldn't seem to find a recent or clear answer in the forums.
For the rule about 125% of the poverty guideline, what is the minimum it takes? On my W-2 my total wages, tips, and other compensation totaled just over $23,200.
From what I googled, the 2015 federal poverty level for a household size of two was $15,930. 125% of this would be $19,912, so I would be in the clear, correct? I just want to make absolute sure that I will be okay for meeting this requirement. Self-doubt goes a long way when sending all this information off into the abyss, I guess!
Thanks very much for any help!!

Hello everyone!
I just had a quick question; I received my NOA1 on February 19th (via text and e-mail), but when I check my case status on the USCIS website is says "My case was received" on February 16th.
I know three days doesn't make much of a difference in their eyes, but I was just curious which date I should consider my official NOA1. I assumed the 19th was when I got the text.
Thanks!!

Thank you so much for your response! I'm so sorry if this is obvious, but what is ROC?
**EDIT**: So sorry, just realized you probably meant removal of conditions.
