Why you want to create problems in somebodys life when he/she is not harming you. I dont understand why people interfere in others life. Live your own life and let others live. I smell jelousy here.

I know A LOT of people who immigrated the same way.. but this one, is my family, who made more harm to my life than anyone. I could have done this years ago, enough is enough. That person is my father who left me when I was 5 and my brother 12, he did not know about us until I was 18, then he brought me to US and tried to torture me mentally, hiding food, taking stuff from me, telling people bad lies about me, taking this from my room, just because I did not want to work for him but I had plans for my own future. Now he is threatening he will come to my country, he will se my house on fire, he will beat me up, he will do this, he will do that.

I'm not scared, I grew up in post-war, post-communism country, I'm 22, 230lbs training martial arts from childhood, have my OWN house, my car and nothing is loan or mortgage. Do you still smell jealousy, or maybe revenge?

  2. How to report someone who emigrated to US by fraud? I will tell some part. He emigrated in 2001, he had fake passport from another country because the country he is from was post war. He lied about him not being in war and said that he was a war refugee. That his parents are killed in war which they were not, his mother is still alive. Lied about being single even though he had wife and two kids. There are more but that is one part of it. How do I report it? I live in Bosnia and embassy here does not have email or non-automated phone.

  3. Congratulation..... America awaits you. :)

    Thanks for sharing.

Good for you! Not everyone might have such an easy experience though, it really is a case by case thing....but it's great to hear that your interview went so smoothly. :)

Thank you guys! Just came to USA few hours ago. It's awesome! Guys at airport are great too, they took my passport and envelope from embassy, treated me with smile, they are really great. All in all, everything is awesome, America awaits you!

  4. I'm 9 days late (sorry), but I got my IR2 visa! Here is my interview experience. My interview was at US Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Interview was september 19th at 8:30.

I arrived at 7:50. Guard told me to come about 5 minutes before 8:30. So I did, they asked me for my name, checked the list and let me in. Then I gave all my stuff for xray annd I was searched. They found sim card in my wallet which I still haven't found. I had to leave my wallet but take my paper money and cards. One guard was really great, other one was not really pleasant. So I went inside waiting room. There were only two of us. They called that guy and then me. Lady who I talked to was actually bosnian. She took my military paper, proof that I'm not married, birth certificate and passport as I recall. She asked me few questions that were written on those papers, just to check, like my fathers name, where he lives, mothers last name and such. Maybe 5 questions.

Then she told me to sit down and wait to be called again. Few minutes later, American lady called. She was really pleasant, smiled all the time, just made that me much less nervous. She asked me english or bosnian and I said english, even though I can stutter sometimes because I don't have enough conversations on english. She asked me what is my fathers job, who he lives with, how many children does he have, where he lives and few more. Then she said "Congratulations, your visa is approved, I wish you all the best in your new home". I was just stunned, didn't even realize what she just said. She gave me yellow paper with passport pickup instructions. I thanked her and went to get my stuff from guards and that was it. I was at the gate at 8:22, I was out at same place at 8:57. Giving my stuff to guard and picking it up took the most of that time. Interview was actually really great!

So that is my experience. For those having interview in Sarajevo, now you know what to approximately expect! Good luck everyone!

  5. No, no local hospital in the US will ever ask for or need the chest x-Ray or other paperwork you're given.

You would be wise to get the vaccination record transcribed onto a WHO yellow vaccination book for your own safekeeping and also of course to scan the vaccination sheet and any other important documents just in case you lose paperwork.

Well, seems like something changed. I've been told to take care of envelope, never let anyone open it, bring it to interview just in caseand that I will have to take it t local hospital or some other medical facility when I get invitation.

sweet thanks for the info medical coming tuesday

No problem, share your experience when you do yours. We are here to help each other.

  6. Had my medical exam yesterday in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. When I got my P4 letter, I found list of doctors for visa medical in my country online. I chose doctor Bakir Kapetanovic, I would recommend him for everyone doing medical in Bosnia. He is really pleasant gentleman. To help Bosnians who are waiting their medical, here is some info.

You call the doctor, he will tell you where to meet him and what to bring. It's usually DIP facility in Kosevo hospital, Sarajevo. Bring interview letter, vaccination records, 5 passport sized pictures and if you had serious illnesses bring receipts from hospital you stayed at. At Kosevo hospital, they will take chest xray and give you encrypted CD. Then you will go to other part of town to give your blood for tests. Then, you will go to another clinic, he will check your throat, ears, nose, skin, blood pressure and such. You will be asked if you smoke, drink, do drugs, about serious illnesses if you had any etc. After all that is done, he will seal you vaccination record and some other papers with chest x ray. DO NOT OPEN IT! You will be required to bring it to local hospital when you arrive in USA.

I hope I helped at least a bit, good luck everyone!

  7. This is it:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received all the requested documentation for this immigrant visa case. The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicant's visa application.

NVC schedules appointments one month in advance. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate General tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments in a first-in, first-out manner. Most appointments are set within 60 days of NVC receipt of all requested documentation. However, we cannot predict when an interview appointment will be available.

When we are able to schedule an appointment, we will notify the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable). The applicant can prepare now by reading about the embassy's interview requirements online at . Thank you for your patience.

The embassy may require additional documents at the interview. In particular, if the following three items are all true, the applicant must bring a new police certificate to the visa interview:

    · He or she is more than 16 years old;

    · The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and

    · He or she still lives in the country that issued the certificate.

The applicant should not make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the embassy has issued a visa.

    Sincerely,

    Director

    National Visa Center

  9. If you are a U.S. citizen or a resident alien of the United States and you live abroad, you are taxed on your worldwide income. However, you may qualify to exclude from income up to an amount of your foreign earnings that is adjusted annually for inflation ($92,900 for 2011, $95,100 for 2012, $97,600 for 2013, $99,200 for 2014 and $100,800 for 2015). In addition, you can exclude or deduct certain foreign housing amounts.

You may also be entitled to exclude from income the value of meals and lodging provided to you by your employer. Refer to Exclusion of Meals and Lodging in Publication 54, Tax Guide for U.S. Citizens and Resident Aliens Abroad, and Publication 15-B, Employer's Tax Guide to Fringe Benefits for more information.

    Other Rules

Not foreign earned income: Foreign earned income does not include the following amounts:

    • Pay received as a military or civilian employee of the U.S. Government or any of its agencies
    • Pay for services conducted in international waters (not a foreign country)
    • Pay in specific combat zones, as designated by an Executive Order from the President, that is excludable from income
    • Payments received after the end of the tax year following the year in which the services that earned the income were performed
    • The value of meals and lodging that are excluded from income because it was furnished for the convenience of the employer
    • Pension or annuity payments, including social security benefits

I meant if you live in USA but you are owner of some business in other country with employees.

  10. Doesn't matter, if the income isn't on a W2 you can't use the I-864EZ.

Received email today from NVC. They received documents June 10th and it will take about 30 days to review case.. So if they ask for another I-864 or something missing it will take 1 month more for interview?... Maybe they will accept I-864EZ without W2 because he sent them 1099, he says it's similar to W2 but this form 1099 is like W2 for his job?

  11. Ohh ok, you didn't mention the transcripts so I wasn't sure.

Here are the guidelines you'll need to follow depending on household size: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

Although I'm assuming $120k is more than enough.

Yes, he sent IRS transcripts, federal income tax returns, for evidence of income he sent contract with company and photocopies of checks, sent proof of US status only naturalization certificate. Did not send W2(not available, social security earnings statement and proof of assets.
