  1. You're most welcome. It was my situation before, got my pc from Japan and waited for it for almost 2 months before my interview. But still I got RFE because of my Oman police clearance , it took me 2 weeks to have it, good thing is I have a friend working there... I thought I do not need Oman pc because when I read about Pc from UAE , thought it was just same. I was also looking for an answer to obtain my UAE pc  before  (been working in Abu Dhabi), til somebody told me to send a message thru facebook account US Embassy, Manila Philippines. I asked them regarding pc from uae, then got an answer within a week.

  2. The interviewer asked for more proof of relationship, he didn't outright deny me though. Does this mean I got approved and just needs more documents or will they still deny me and send back a blank passport?

221g does not mean you are denied. You just need to submit what they asked from you like additional proof of relationship. Don't worry you'll be fine after all.. did they gave you back your passport and told you to submit it with the additional proof of your relationship? If yes then start to gather again some more proofs.. Go..go..go!! You can do it.

  3. First and foremost i would like to thank you all for creating a wonderful website like visa journey! I am so happy to be a part of this forum! you'all helped everyone in every single way. and it is a big help to me!

I had my interview today and i am fully equipped of supporting documents that was listed on the check list but nothing was asked only the civil documents like divorce decree, birth certificate , cenomar and nbi clearance was asked. Pre screening was fast probably 2 minutes, the filipino officer asked me 3 things ,

    1. How did i meet my fiance

    2. What is his birthday

    3. How many kids do i have?

and after answering it briefly i was told to proceed to finger scanning and next is to proceed to window 62-68 for the final interview( but another lady was there assisting line so once again i was told to seat down and wait for my turn and yeah maybe after an hour chitchating with my seatmates about our stories its my turn!

    Final Interview

The officer was so nice and soft spoken, hes jokingly telling my son( 7 years old ) that he ain't old enough to do the finger scanning thing coz my son is watching me doing it and i think he notice it.. so my final interview was fast he then asked me some questions

    1. How did i meet my fiance

    2. How old is my Usc son

    3. What are the dates of my fiance vacation for year 2013.

so i answer immediately and after 5 seconds.. he was back with his smile and told me he wont keep me long because maybe my 2 years old son is waiting hungry outside lol so he pop up the word " your papers are complete and we are done here , wait for you visa for 5-10 days - thank you and have a nice day!

So yay! no more ldr soon!

Congratulations to all those members who passed the interview as well!!

I just had my interview this oct. 13 and i got approved. Every case is different. In my the pre-screening, i just submitted my birth cert, nbi and cenomar, and at the final interview, the american consul just asked the same question like the filipino consul asked me: my name and birthdate, my fiance's name, birthdate, work and how did we met. Both of them didnt asked anymore of my paperworks.

It just took 1 min and im done with my final interview.

Thanks God! And thanks to all who share their experiences and advices. God bless us all.

    Congratulations! Cheers???

From the post I read, we may okay not to bring the police record during interview, but the CO will give us letter and ask us to submit to them when the police record is ready and then they will continue to process our visa .

    Thank you, Nanamora.

  9. Hi all,

Just wanted to share our medical exam yesterday. We arrived at SLEC around 6:30 in the morning. We had all or documents ready and photocopies at hand as well. There was a lot of people! My 3 teenagers finished first; together with their physical exam as the last stop. They were done around 3pm. They are asked to come back today at 2pm. ( hoping for good results )

However, on my end during the PE, the physician asked a lot of questions, and having remembered when I was a teenager way back years ago during my parents split up/annulment I inflicted harm on my wrist using a razor but it wasn't that deep but it left a scar :( I had to open it up rather than wait for the doctor to see it for herself and then ask me why I didn't do so right?

So she scheduled me for a consult this Thursday. I am a bit worried though; does anybody have any experience with this? Our interview is on Monday.

    Hi!

I had my first day of medical last Sept 29, 2016 (thursday) St.luke's gave me a referral to take a psychological evaluation (annulment case & wrist scars). That was Sept. 30,2016 (friday) at PEPS (Personnel Evaluation & Psychological Services.) when I took it. It was a long written exam & some kind of question & answer like description of an image. Not bad anyways.

The psychologist told me to wait for a week before I follow-up in St.luke's if they have my result already to proceed for another evaluation (psychiatric evaluation). Oct. 7,2016 (friday) I called st luke's and asked if they can give me a schedule for my second evaluation, I told the nurse that I will be having my interview on October 17,2016(monday). She then gave me a schedule for my second evaluation this coming Thursday, Oct.13, 2016 & will have my immunization the following day Friday, Oct.14, 2016.

Paid 4k & 1k plus for the second evaluation.

  10. My Japanese police certificate took exactly eight weeks to arrive at the Japanese embassy. You could contact them if you're worried, but when they say two months they mean two months.

Im hoping to receive it by next week . ?

    Thank you!?

Japan is pretty good about their timelines. Normally 2 months so your close. If it doesn't arrive in time for your interview it's not the end of the world. You'll get a 221g and you and USEM will be waiting on the PC. Once it's received USEM reviews your documents and delivers a decision.

So patience, patience and more patience.

    Hopefully by next week ?

    Thank you Greenbaum. ?

  11. Do we have to appoint a schedule for it? I went to the slec site and it said it's a walk-in first come first serve, but my parents don't trust that and made me call the hospital. No one was answering though. I'm thinking of doing the medical exam two weeks before my interview (Oct. 20) since I have some self-harm scars on my thighs. So another question is, will they examine every inch of my body? XD that would be weird.. What exactly happens on the physical examination?

Hi. No appointment needed for medical examination at SLEC. Just register & go there as early as 5 a.m. if you want to finish the procedure early. Its first come first served. 2 weeks prior to your interview is fine since you have some scars on your thighs (self-harm) usually, procedure is, they will refer you to take a psychological evaluation on that kind of case, if they will know that it's a self-harm scars and it will take time, . Yes, they have physical examination, to check private and not-so-private parts of the body. Don't worry everybody is required to take those procedure.
